I'm more curious how you physically have your sonos connected to the bottom of your TV. Do you have a video for that?

So when you go to the learn remote on the settings, you use the TV remote and NOT the Apple TV remote?

Software updates change things but this is how I did it.

This was exactly how I did it but things may be different now with all of the latest software updates. The main thing is that I can control my TV and soundbar with the Apple TV’s remote and that’s convenient!

HDMI cable to the eArc port.

nope thats how to setup a third party remote to control your apple tv, not you apple tv remote to control something else

This is what worked for me to control Sonos Beam soundbar volume with the Apple TV 4K remote.

Pickup you are both correct: his video mistakenly shows that you go to “Learn Remote”, what he means is that you need to go to “Volume Control” and THEN “Learn New Device”, which is how he setup his Apple Remote to control his Soundbar - I’m sure he just merely forgot the extra steps he took. Easy mistake but ultimately he’s 90% there.
