Sorry not checked comments for a while. Thin coats from a wet pallette, I usually do grey seer base, apothecary white contrast, grey seer tidy up, highlight with corax white then white scar. If you watch my sisters of battle painting video that's basically how I do it all the time
Some people probably cost their conversions: I'd suggest people who convert characters to save money (which is a superb reason to get into converting). Trouble is when conversions start being done for the sake of a unique looking force, and when you get to that point it's probably best not costing them ;)
@@TheCockedDice There's conversions like project Ultramorons (not sure if you've seen) that have to be way more expensive than needed for an Ork force, but it does look brilliant!
The ultra morons project is great, planning on an Ork force for later this year, mains cos I have a box full of random ork bits and it'll be heavily converted /kit bashed.
