I had same beautiful idea, was very excited cause it looks like how much could be just a few common parts? I did basic math two days ago and.... it's just cheaper to buy a whole new one in the box :) so you will have two working cars.

hello , very interesting video, but what if you bought a bandit chassis and put everything on that. Would that be an original bandit competition ready ? thing is i bought a rustler, but my club doesnt drive them anymore. i would love to use the same parts to make a 1/10 buggy. thx for the video. i subed

Thabk you The chassis is the same its pretty much the arms are more narrow not sure if you would be able to run a wide bandit

Its the m12 fuel screwdriver and if not careful it will strip everything when tightening screws 😂 amzn.to/40yOwaK

With the bandit arms and tires, is it still possible to use the rustler body? Or will the tires rub against the body. Great video btw!

Thank you. I don't know if that would work unfortunately I don't have a rustler or bandit to test it either. But at 0:38 where I'm comparing the width you can see how big the rustler body would be if you just look at the shocks on both you can see where it would end up. It looks like it would fit it would be close though. Not sure how it would look though. I usually see people go the other way bandit body with rustler tires and arms.

Or just buy a bandit vxl roller (vxl because hex bit screws) and transfer over the electronics and wheels or get different wheels

Would the bandit body fit on the rustler without modifications

You would have to remove the front body mount and also change the rear shock tower for the wing to mount. If you didn't want the wing you wouldn't have to change it.

Bro you made it so complicated the arms can be left alone and the front it just won't look exactly like the bandit all you need to do is the front shock tower off take off the he's for the bandit wheels and get the body a spoiler
