This is a very common problem for lads returning from Oz with tools.
The gas used in Austrlia is different from here in Ireland and the UK.
Luckily it is possible to convert them over by replacing 3 parts.
But it is very expensive to do now. Costing from 160 to 210 euro depending on part availability and if the gun also needs serviced.

Interesting i never knew there were country differences in these. I also sell these new here in Australia, I remember the orange gas cans and was told the newer swing connector/black cans were just newer models. The things you learn, always enjoy your knowledge and work. Good work as always!

over here in nz those gas canisters come with both the round head and euro tube on the side head and we put on the orange bit depending on the gun .All or older models take the "euro" style head and all the newer ones take the round orange head . they just press or on with a slight twist

Great video. Thanks for posting. Do you know if the the cylinder head for the Irish / European 350+ will also transfer / fit onto the CFN325XP ? This is the North American version of the 30 Degree Cordless framing nailer. Thanks

Ordered the cylinder head , stem and door for the 350+ hoping it would work on the North American CFN325XP 30 Degree Cordless framing nailer. It fits, the change out took about an hour as I hadn't done it before, thanks for leading the way. North American Paslode nail gun can also be converted to European gas. Parts were €150 plus €35 VAT and service fee collected by An Post.
