After installing cbbe I had to buy a mouse with tons of programable buttons so I can play fallout with one hand!

I followed the steps. and it works great. actually was able to bodyslide enable a armor mod that wasn't ty for the clear and concise tutorial.

Thank you, I'm using this for Skyrim but this was the best video I could find explaining what to do! My only qualms are I'm confused on how to deal with outfits that are "multiple parts" since it seems I have to do separate projects for them.

thanks for this video best thing about it was how clear you made things using what you had said i was able to convert some cbbe cloths to uunp in skyrim and it worked perfectly thanks before the breast and backside area were clipping through big time but not now.

Great video!! :) But I got an issue as my character already has a customised body with different dimensions compared to the default cbbe body through the use of Body Slide. I was wondering if it was possible to edit outfits based on that preset(the xml file)?

Great work, long time viewer; first time commentor. I have watch yourself and other great tutorials go through these how to's and I have successfully created an outfit. Its at this point the tutor says something like, "Let's see this in-game" as though it is the simplest thing in the world and not worth mentioning how, then skips to game footage. As the saying goes, "It's easy when you know how". I have yet to find one video, article, or comment with this final, cherry on top, step. So how do we do it?

This is a great video~! but i'm totaly new to the whole bodyslider outfit studio thing...i have the nuclear body for CBBE but then i've tried to use the toxic raider for cbbe...but the clothings is clipping through the body itself. Anychance you can do a video and teach how to to adjust the clothing to a particular body shape? Thank you so much!

I really wouldn't mind more videos like this myself. I could use skills in this side of modding for all plethora of devices. I'm quite interested in creating my own meshes and textures for armor so I can make custom armors, but I dont know how easily that could be done. If you have any inkling of an idea, I'd love if you made a video of it oxhorn.

Nice tutorial dude. Also loved your vault. But i was just wondering in some of your settlement videos i see that you have used the far harbor child of atome glasses fild with radioactive material. wich mod adds these to the menu?

I see that this is a really old video but I kind of hope you can still ask my question please, I downloaded Eli's armor compendium and Danse's BoS armor has a little clipping issue , similar to this one. The military pants are showing a little bit through the jacket. What you are doing in this video is a bit different I get that, but I gotta ask would it work to fix this type of clipping issue that I'm having?

Here I have a questions, I noticed that your outfit studio has the selection that "apply overall skin transform" under the "File". But I don't have that in mine. I use the bodyslide v4.2.1. Dose my bodyslide incomplete?

Question.. I've been messing around with a mod for SSE and never used outfit studio before hence watching your vid. My question is, is it normal for textures to not show up & only see no image all over the mesh? I selected auto detect textures and it shows all the diff texture paths as correct in the shape properties window like diffuse, normal, environment, etc. but not actual textures shown on the mod page that came with mod. The mod had many different options so no idea if that has something to do with it. Also there were tons of different nifs to select but most are individual pieces. how do i know which one is the whole outfit so I can just convert that one?? Also im guessing if i have to do each piece invidually im going to have to add them to the project or pack them? I have no idea. i'm working with BHUNP for Lustmord Vampire Armor. Edit: Nvm im stupid... Auto detect doesnt always work for some mods had to manually select them for it to show up. Though im stuck trying to figure what textures go with some of the nifs. Like theres a nif for brooch but no texture with same name for example.

I'm using this to try to figure out OutfitStudio for Skyrim; most of the tutorials for doing this for Skyrim are several years out of date, severely lacking in information, or both. The only part I'm stuck on now is how to HDT-ify an outfit that doesn't have it. All of the outfits I'm trying to convert were made well before HDTPE was released, and while I suspect a couple have mesh issues (when I load the outfit in OS, the meshes are extremely misaligned - floating up above the body) I can't find any existing conversions. I'm not sure if it's possible to add HDT data in OutfitStudio though.

for some reason, whenever I am trying to do this on my own, the body ends up very blackened and poorly graphic detailed, I followed all your instructions and I cannot seem to get the stendarrclericF outfit to get on a human looking body in bodyslide.... I can only see it having cbbe when I load the preset in outfit studio, so confused.

So, I have this odd issue with my clothing mods I have. I have one by (I'm gonna butcher this name) Ellianora, which includes what looks like two shoulder holsters for firearm magazines. There's no clipping issue, or anything. In fact, the mod looks great! Yet, when I'm in 1st person while crouching, the holsters somehow clip into my line of sight while reloading, and all I see is a VERY up close view of the holsters directly in my face. Is there any way I can fix this issue?

Hey Ox, I'm using Truewasteland body, and I tried the same thing you did, but I had this weird effect after saving it making it look like my character had cancer.

Ok, I'll bite. I have an outfit that I've made from a combination of a few mods (+ Kellogg's gloves). I follow the steps in the video strictly and whenever I go to Bodyslide and select my outfit, there are no presets in the drop down menu. I've been trying to do this all day, so any help would be awesome. Thanks.

can you tell me why it is when I use outfit studio to set up a body/outfit and save when I load it in slider it is way off from what I built.

I know this is kinda old, but does could you also do this with hair mods to make it so that vanilla and modded hats don't clip through them?

Thanks to you, I MOSTLY understand how to use the program. The only problem is that after I've loaded my custom body from "Slider" and try to bring out the outfit meshes, every time I click, a message pops up: "You can only edit the base shape when all sliders are zero. Do you wish to set all sliders to zero now? Note, use the pencil button next to slider to enable editing of that slider's morph". If I click "No", nothing happens; if I click "Yes", the body then changes (gets smaller): with a different body from the one I use in-game, what's the point of fixing the outfit? Oh, and I'm using this on Skyrim, not Fallout, but I suppose it's the same. Thanks.

Okay but what do you do when every time you load in the meshes the outfit/armor is hovering like 10 feet above the body in outfit studio?

Hey Oxhorn, can you make a video on combining different clothing pieces and making the body fit the clothing? I got the clothing to conform to my cbbe body but I can't the body conform to the cloths. I've tried for hours on doing this and I simply cannot do it. When I combine two pieces of clothing (ie panties and pants and use a slider preset), it won't let me do edits. I guess I don't understand outfit studio enough. Please help!

I have a problem with one of the mods i'm using. It's the fusion city mod, but it works just fine. The problem is when I step inside fusion city the characters in there has messed up skins and I've tried to fix it, but my bodyslide mod isn't working. It comes up, but the lines doesn't pop up for me to fix anything.

How do you change the clothes to fit custom cbbe bodys. For instance I select curvy go in change some thing on the body. Then theirs poke through on the legs from the change. Is their a way to fix that in outfit studio. What's the point of the sliders on the right when you can't conform the clothing to changes on the body.

I have a question. I wanna know how to adapt a vanilla costume to a custom body THAT is not human. I'm using Proto-Argonian body which has digitigrade feet and claws and when i merge the outfit and the bidy under, of course boots are in the way so, my question is how i can delete those boots ? Then ? I could simply save it as new body ? This is my first time i'm using Outfit Studio. Thanks !

Forgive me for another question yet I have gone further because of this video than I have in a long time. But Ok I creat a big bodyslide file, I make all these bodyslide files to go with it, now I have a small issue, my belt for instance, should be an outer area, well when i create or bui;ld it to match my bodypreset, it creates like the shape of the 6 pack in the belt itslef like as if its layered onto my outfit instead of an attachement, same thing for the combat armor piece, i want it to be flat but the chest conforms to whatever my body slide file is, why would that change its on the outside of my outfit? not skintight on my body?? This is how to change the body to fit inside the uniform, which is a problem I don't experience, but I need to learn how to change the UNIFORM to fit the body. Is it possible to do this? I'd like it so I can have the clothes fit my custom body.

Please help, whenever I choose CBBE body as template, it gives me an error and says "Could not load slider set file 'Slidersets/CBBE.osp' " What does this mean?? Am I missing a certain file needed?
