How to Convert and Modify a Radio to DC Power, Portable Radio DIY Overview + Testing 

Here, I've converted a radio into a DC signaling radio. I modified and rewired the output wires to a custom driver I put together. The entire radio is now powered by a single alkaline 9V battery cell, which indicates a potential voltage reading of 8.88V. I'm re-using a ceramic resistor rated for 0.39Ohms of resistance.
Also, I replaced the original speaker with a higher quality speaker for better audio and less noise. These electronics can be transformed into a handheld and portable unit, which is great for power outages or general radio use.
