Where did you tell iphone to convert the HEIF to JPG when you pasted the image into the JPG folder. When I did that it pasted the image as a HEIF image.
Thanks for making the process super easy to follow. Finally a person that actually explains how to convert instead of changing setting on your iPhone to save all as JPEG.
Thank you SO much for this video. I needed to convert photos so my husband could use them on his PC. I appreciate your clear and informative description of how to do this easily. I'm going to check out some of your other videos.
This was super helpful, I do appreciate it. The other options were to download some app or to convert through e-mail. There is always a solution and I found it, thanks to you.
You're the man...worked like a charm. DO NOT USE ANY OTHER APPS... This is the "no hassle, no bs, 100% true way" Thank you very much. Liked and subscribed. Blessings good sir!
Ok so I am not the best at tech...so I had to stop and start it a bunch of times only so i could catch up...However I would say you did an awesome job in going step by step...Heck it worked for me so pretty certain it can work for anyone! Thanks a bunch! Did an awesome job!
Thank you so much! This was so easy and helpful! I use my phone to take photos for work occasionally and good lord all of the apps and “free converters” are so stressful and rarely work. Saving this video for future use
Great video - I was tired of sending my images to my Mac - then having to one at a time make a copy - then save that copy as a jpeg. More importantly do what he says at the end and just turn off the feature. (nobody ever asks for a HEIC image!)
Your videos are so helpful and to the point, I appreciate it! I needed to post pics and they were in HEIF format, they told me I needed it in JPG format. I didn't know how to convert them, but luckily I came up on your videos and you helped me out of a jam. You are a Life Saver! Thank you so much! I'm definitely subscribing to your channel.
Thanks for this 'workaround'. The nightmare I have is a computer on High Sierra and when I updated my iphone it changed the photos setting to HEIC, first I knew about it was when I tried to download the pics onto my mac using image capture and it refused to do it. All the workrounds on youtube I've found so far totally ignore this problem. They only give a conversion to jpg solution if you can get your heic pic onto the desktop - impossible on a mac on High Sierra (still used as otherwise I have to buy a new printer and scanner). Your workaround gives a partial solution - thanks, but there re two things you lose doing this - original photo name and date which are useful keeping files in order. Any ideas on this very welcome.
Thank you! I was seriously about to stomp on my phone and call it quits. You explained it well and made it easy to convert over 400 photos to jpeg. (My phone thanks you too.)
Mine didn't work until I actually created a folder as he shows. I'd tried to just paste into the screen with the Downloads, etc., but that didn't work.
