I just realised that they left my forename blank and my surname had both my forename and surname in it. How do I get it corrected? I need it for my visa renewal asap

Could you please please make a video for spouse wife's brp and kids on how to convert, or can we use the same email as the same number of the same app on the same mobile?

This is so important. Unfortunately I don’t have an answer for this. I don’t see any problem with this. I used my app to help a friend although not the same email and mobile number. I don’t think it should cause any problem. You can all the government to find out if you are in doubt. Kindly let me know whether it worked out. It will help other families. All the best!

Hii cynthia hope you doing well I have question, i did receive email from home office and just made my ukvi account and if go through the procedure online it says you’re already logged in and how can i scan the code i signed on my phone and there is no QR code to scan

Hi, Try the connection code option. If you don’t have the option to choose between the QR code or connection code to link your UKVI Account then there is something wrong with your UK immigration ID check app. Start afresh by closing the app and reopening it.

Hi! I have submitted my application more than a week ago, however did not get the evisa yet. Is that normal? I only received the generic email -we are linking your evisa to your account. But did not get the evisa yet. Is there anyone like me or should I be concerned?

@@zeynepdem9623 Ok, that is odd. Some people complained about the same thing. Check whether you completed all the sections. Log in through the email sent by the home office. Contact the eVisa department. I showed how to contact them in option 12. 12 problems with getting an eVisa and their solutions. Thanks for answering, I have contacted official Eu resolution centre and they said"as a EU family member, we do Not need to do anything because when we were granted a Pre settled status as a family member of EU citizen, our account UKVI was already created by HOME OFFICE so everybody can check and update his documents (passport or national id card of our origin country) means"we can travel from January 2025 to UK or from UK without any UK issued document...that's what I understand

Hi Cynthia, I got the email to switch to evisa and I have done it without any stress. I want to know if I will get another email from UKVI for my wife. I am asking because I used the same email when I applied for a student and a dependant visa for myself and my wife. I look forward to your response. Thank you.

@@GWin247 This is great! You should expect another email for your wife. Since the deadline is the end of the year, I suggest that you wait a bit if you are not travelling. It will come. The most important thing is ensure that you complete the process before the end of the year. Perhaps set an alarm for next month or two so that you don’t forget. All the best!

Hi Cynthia, I appreciate you and the content you often post. I received an email from evisadirectmail regarding my BRP expiring in December 2024. However, on my BRP card, the expiration date is September 2024, and they are asking me to replace my BRP with an eVisa. My question - Do I opt-in for replacement with eVisa before September 2024 stated on the BRP card? Also, does it mean the eVisa will start counting for BRP instead? Thanks

@@opeyemihassan3652 Thank you for the compliment. It is comments like this that keep me going on. This is a tough one. I would suggest that you follow the government’s instructions. If they sent you an email then they want you to convert the BRP to an eVisa. I think that your immigration details will be linked to your biodata online and you don’t need the details on your BRP card as all your visa details will be on their immigration system which can be accessed in any border. Your landlord and employer can have access to it once you give them a share code. How to view your eVisa, Right to Work and Right to Rent share codes: Latest UK immigration rules ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-K21fNWOg-Oo.html It doesn’t mean that you should throwaway your BRP as you will need the BRP number to log into your UKVI account. If you are in doubt about what to do, call the government. All the best!

Hi Cynthia, thank you for your detailed videos, I did mine, filled all the forms, then I recieve an email that my evisa is ready to view, when I checked, the message I got is “we cannot show proof of your status” Please what can I do ?

@@brendamusa8978 Wow! I don’t know. Perhaps you can try to contact them and complain about the issue. Visit the “Gat your eVisa” website and look for a link or email to make an enquiry.
