My friend Poky needed help converting an extra Cantina Playset shell into a Real West: Western Cafe playset. Here I go over how to use a conversion kit to do it.
Great custom! 👏 I can see this being used in an Indiana Jones type custom too. Especially as Hasbro has re-released a 3.75 'retro' Indy figure (which will be out in the next couple of months or so). Wishing you and yours a happy New Year Burt!
Brilliant job, Bert. Came out great. I actually had the Butch Figure, and the "U.S. Mint Wagon" vehicle/playset...but i sold it in the 90's. It was a pretty great toy.
Real West! Still have most of one figure from this line and he can still quick draw. (he's the guy you see riding the horse on the front of the package)..
I had the cantina when I was a kid. I wish I had parents that knew to store that away when I outgrew it. I think it ended up getting sold at a yard sale or put into the trash.
I didn’t want to risk breaking anything, so I left it together. A little bit of the original color still shows at the levers, but it’s not that distracting.
*If you line up the Star wars Sears General Mills mail in order Cantina as front drop and the Kenner Cantina playset directly behind. It lines up perfectly!
