If only my mom understood that 6 years ago. Even put together a list for like 800€ and my mom paid 1000€ for a worse one... oh well i guess i could always upgrade this prebuilt nightmare. It has weirdly held up very well with barely any maintinence
My 13yr old and I were just talking about this. He saved for a PS5, but changed his mind, now he wants to build one. Your video showed up on his feed. 😂
@@Iwalee19 Dont tell people to buy a prebuilt, unless its your money and you dont mind, because he needs to learn responsibility, if he buys it all from amazon he can just refund it
" i can't do my work without two 4090s and an i9 14900ks with 128 gigs of ram and two 8 terabyte stick ssd because my math homework requires it to compute well"
You make my day of waiting my birthday better with this advertisement youre doing, It convince my mom to buy me a pc since i have a special program individual skills to program my own streams on RU-vid thanks to you!
Man thank you so much I kid you not I decided to show my mother this video and she is literally going to buy me all the parts needed now, and the thing is I’ve been asking her and my dad for months to let me do this and finally they’ve said yes. Quite frankly I can not thank you more.
My parents handled this situation perfectly. When I ended up asking for a gaming PC (around 6 years ago) they not only paid 50% for my PC, but my step dad quickly got himself one that was even better than my PC. Since that day we regularly play games such as anno, civilization and elite dangerous together.
My mom bought me a prebuild with the help of my dad one problem is my dad is like always tryna save money so what i got was a pc that was so ass it somehow costed 300 dollars it came with a mouse monitor and a keyboard
@@anirudhkhabiya3742 kid fuggs up then what yeah the lid will learn but so much money wasted but this applies if the parent do not know anything bout building pc
@@vrafeuskorenI think you should start mid range, at least you'll appreciate so much more having a high range build after some years lol (also with that you avoid doing useless incremental updates)
This is actually 1 of the most helpful videos I’ve seen to convince my parents get me a gaming pc. My parents specifically said if I got the money, they will let me buy one. I got a job and got the money and they still refused which was bs. I found this vid 2 days later and it actually convinced them because they believed the “more of a builder than a gamer” part.
My son and I built him a gaming computer for Christmas. He paid for most of the parts himself. He did some extra work and earned extra money and got lucky for Christmas. We picked out all the parts together and assembled it up in his room. Watching him plug in the ram and connecting the graphics card was one of my most proudest moments. The knowledge he will gain overclocking it and upgrading will be very valuable when he gets older. He is 11.
I completely agree with you! Personally I’m in a similar situation as the son, except I fully built my PC by myself. 11 is also a really young age to get started. I’m very hopeful for his future. Godspeed to both of you
This is what I did to convince my parents. First of all learning to build a computer could be beneficial in so many ways. Also I learn how to edit and tell story through editing but I’m still improving at that. Also watch the pc parts and stuff market and buy stuff that on at 15+% deal show a lot of maturity and responsibility which looks really good to them. Also getting advice and stuff to friends and family make seem like you really really know there stuff. And other thing you can do to help with parents, not understand why we need pc and stuff. Over all they didn’t help with the price by paying of like 25% or something. But over all I say it worked out for me. but thats just my recommendation. Also if your not good at typing use that to your advantage and say that you can learn typing and stuff with a pc.
Thank you so much my mom bought me a pc for my b-day after I showed her this video I just wanna say thank you it’s has been my dream to get a pc and now because of you I have one thank you
I told my parents i needed a pc for gaming and school programming assignments, and they allowed me to buy it also give me some more money for monitor. Always love your PARENTS❤️.
😂😂😂😂 this is somewhat I said to my parents to get a pc. After getting it I was playing video games all day long. I remember once my mom shouted at me for 4 hours straight
So well said. I've been a PC "nerd" so to say since a very young age. I now am a System Administrator. Been in the IT field for a long time since always tinkering with computers.
I’m 12 and built my first pc recently. Really glad i got into this world and I’ve learned so much and have started learning C as well. I get to play video games in my free time too for free (pirating!!). good to know that this will help me in the future.
That was probably true when you were young, nowadays, everybody has a pc and most of the younger dont even care about what they have. They just ask for a prebuilt that will let them play call of duty or fortnite.
@@OctoMatoeyea that's the sad truth, which Is why the people that actually build the pc themselves are obviously a lot more interested and will go a lot further, appreciate it more ect 🎉
bro littrly spittin up facts yea the whole idea why I want a pc is not just for gaming the reason I want a pc is to create inventions with technology with the use of programming that nobody has ever created before I love gaming and all but I will use my pc when I eventually build one for other things besides gaming
Well that depends where you live. I'm an Italian student who studied one year in Ireland. In my home country, working while studying is completely pointless, because it's plenty of degenerate bosses who underpays in a ridiculous way. It's just smarter and way more efficient to study hard and be maintained by your parents who earns ten times the amount you earn (not joking or exaggerating, italian job market is that fucked up). In Ireland instead every student works because salaries are way higher (and yes, even considering the cost of living) and there are better opportunities. If I had intelligent and smart kids I would definetly encourage them to learn these things
@@OctoMatoeI tried this too, i saved money for 4 years and helped for example elderly women with their chores and stuff to earn some money. Even when i saved up 800$ and wanted to buy a pc my dad still said to "go outside" (I am already outside with my dog for 4+ hours a day) and to go do something better. Then he just took that money and spent it on himself. I was so mad.
I showed this to my mom and when she said yes to a 4090(she has no clue what it is) I made her sign a contract for it that is legally binding before she sees the price
I convinced my parents for 3 years straight and for some reason whenever we have 10/20 of thousands of dollars in my parents bank account we have no money for one 💀
