man yeah I agree totally! I've got 2 kids (ages 10, 14) and they play both GTA 5 and GTA online i have played it since it came out so mabey I was more able to say that it's good or bad idk? great video BTW lol
@@jkensainril4811 in order to access GTA Online you will have to complete the first mission in North Yankton (don’t quote me on that, you might me able to just click pause and go to online but IF not) you have to get money from the vault, get to the car, and end up running away from the cops to trigger the cut scene then go to online! I’m assuming you don’t have to do the first mission but if you do I’d say you’ll be in story mode for maybe 10 minutes.

The hardest part about is that parents is getting them to listen. Like I ask parents for a game, they ask what age it is and even if I had made a reasonable argument they just hear the word 18 and instantly say no, especially when they hear GTA. Like they put all their trust in what content to show their children in some people the don't know.
Hey man, I got the game a few weeks ago so thank you for making this video. I’d also like to add that my mom was still a bit reluctant but she walked in on me playing it and said “that game looks fun! what’s it called” I told her that it was gta v and she was super confused because she had the misconception that gta v was a game filled with terrible things. Parents have a strange bias against the game and I think everyone should be able to get the game; it’s more mild than even i thought!
My mom doesn't care about stripping or drugs i'm just not allowed to get it just because she thinks I will become a serial killer by playing this game.
S-kil it depends if you are not a normal person, like a mental illness, people that have mental illnesses and other stuff are more likely to do stuff like that, and most people know that gta is a VIDEO GAME not real life, they will know the difference
i have watch dogs2 so i asked my dad for gta qnd i showed him the video he said you were very much right for talking about the drugs part and he let me get it only rule though i cant do campaign
My mom bought it for me not really knowing what it is about. When she found out what you can do in the game she immediately tried taking it away. I just told her it would be a waste of her money to take it away since she would have bought it for no reason. It worked :D
Guys; if your still in middle school which is the youngest age I think anyone should play it, go ask your BFF to buy it for you for a birthday present, sure, you have to wait a while, but it’s worth it (especially if your nervous/can’t work up the courage to ask)
- GTA may have some bad quality’s but they are completely optional - Any game I’ve been playing has the same amount of violence - If you get me the game. I can promise I won’t ask for any more games or get any for a long while - Plus I’ve already watched the game and seen the violent parts of it meaning I know it’s not bad - Most reviews suggest if your kid understands the difference between the game and real life. It should be okay. - I know it’s been tough to deal with my annoyance and constantly asking for games but I promise you all heartedly that I will stop bugging. - I believe That I am mature enough to get this game and I’ve proven that I can handle these types of games as I have before -->Begin to compromise. “ but what do you find you wouldn’t want me playing this game for?” Too Violent - I’ve played other games just like this most is in campaign Language- I’m literally in middle school and have heard some of the worst words And I’m not screaming swears around the house Nudity-🤮 stuff - I promise you I will not do or go to those places. Most is in campaign Could mess me up - I will promise to balance out gaming and outside time so I don’t become wonky in the head Might act on it - Obviously not going to act as I’m not that type of kid Rape - there’s none. And if there was I obviously wouldn’t do it🤣 -> Once you do that. Say “ Okay Now that I’ve kind of explained the game. I’ll let you think on it. But it’s going to be on sale soon.”

Just found this tonight and a few months ago it took so much convincing to be allowed to play GTA games It worked and i have no regrets (my dad played 5 for a bit and had fun blowing up soldiers with a tank)

my outcome was different, my mom took gta 5 away from me, then i showed her the video and she yelled at me for for showing the video because she didnt want me to mention the game ever again... (plus im 13)
I’m really nervous to ask my dad because I asked him and instantly said no, and didn’t want to ask him why to upset him, but the main reason is that my friend got it and would like to play with him.
I have red dead but not gta (my dad has it so it’s free for me) but red dead is a lot worse cuz u can blow people’s head off with a shotgun and decapitate them
Ive had this game since i was 12 years of age. My parents were sceptical at first when I asked them. But once they had realized that I had heard tons of curse words. Ive been around drugs and many more things they gave in and got me the game. Im 17 of age now and am still rocking with it.
I have to still wait a year... everyday is more painful then the last... and to add to that my friends have it and play it a lot and make fun of me for not having it.
I'm a little upset because I love this game and my parents wont let me play even though my brother played it when he was only 13 and when the game came out and I'm 14 this game isn't even that bad there's mild drug use.
This helped me make my argument to get the game! I was successful in my mission and copped the game for $20!!! Tysm! And I immediately failed the first mission within the first 5 seconds of controlling the dude because I shot the hostage guard immediately😭😭
Fun fact: I convinced my dad to let me play gta5 at 12 years by puting him to play. He had so much fun and he let me from that day and he liked sometimes to relax by watching me doing heists.
My parents just say shut up and yell at me to go away when I ask, they don’t even listen to my reasons. All they care about is the moms on facebook that say the game is horrible even though they have not played it.
dont forget with mods you can get real jobs such as police officer and you can use this game as a great tool for learning how to drive and the rules of the road due to its realistic cars and streets
you said your 45 which makes you an adult, so you can just get the game without permission cause your able to, parents lose control over you as soon as you turn 18
Bit late. I’ve always been watching ppl play gta 5. Usually content in the videos is about races and just having fun in mini games. I appreciate for your honest opinion and I just turned 12 and ive been looking at parent guides to violence and inappropriate scenes and I realized it’s not that much and says it’s totally fine for mature 13 year olds. I appreciate you explaining that most inappropriate things are optional and not necessary.
Wish my parents let me get GTA V, they do let me play rdr2 which is basically just gta with cowboys it’s even a rockstar game. They also let me play the last of us part 2 which had a sex scene that my parents know about, it’s also a very brutal and mature game

I got gta 4 when i was 6. Miss those days. When they realized how the game was, they removed it from me. In 2020 i asked them again to play GTA. Made a PowerPoint presentation (not joking) and could play it. I wanted to play GTA 4 to just continue the story. I had a gta 5 disc because i bought a second hand ps4 pro. After 11 days out of no reason i cant play it anymore they only said: "if you start being aggressive, or getting bad grades at school, you cant play it anymore" And NONE of that happened. In fact im the 1# student in class. (Not flexing) brooo please help me i just want to go back to the old days with gta 4 540p with the ps3 .....

The only game my parents don’t let me play is gta. They only ask the price of games but with all the moms on Facebook talking about gta being bad she won’t let me play. Even though both my GRANDPA and DAD love the game
So I got RDR2 about 1 month ago, I am 12 years old but I am very mature for my age. I finished RDR2 story in like 2 1/2 weeks, and I feel I need a longer and better story with more free roam. And I am scared to ask especially with my dad because it’s like if my dads say no my mom agrees but if he says yes my mom says yes. So I don’t know how to convince my parents
gta 5s story is a lot shorter. Also this game doesn't have as much free roam as Red Dead. You're driving cars in Saint Denis basically. If you got Red Dead though, then you should be allowed to play this.
thatsss_ tuf the story mode of red dead redemption is soo much better and not as violent and you can be a good person but in gta the story mode you have to be a criminal. The online mode is better for gta. Red dead redemption is still better than gta in my opinion
Yo if he says something about violence mention other games that you have cuz It won't make sense to mention how violence is bad if a bunch of other games have the same violence
My mom says it’s fine if I play I cause she played vice city in college and she watches me do the missions sometimes as long have I keep my GPA over 3.0 she doesn’t care what I play
The only reason i want to play GTA V is because it was out for free all i wanted to do was drive cars and planes yet I couldn’t afford an actual flight simulator with cars
