Living in the east central Mississippi, mustard, turnip and collard greens are a staple on every dining room table!! I remember watching my grandmother cook greens on the stove for hours, allowing the greens and seasoning meat to become tender resulting in a tasty main course or side dish!! Greens are not something that southerners eat on special occasions but something that's grown and eaten daily.
In today's video, I'm going to show you a way to cook quick and easy mustard & collard greens using ingredients that you probably have in your pantry now in 13 minutes!! The end result will make folks think you cooked them for hours on the stove!!
Check it out and I thank ya for watching!!
