The durian seed contains various nutrition and benefits, it is actually poisonous when RAW. That is because in an uncooked durian, it contain CYCLOPROPENE fatty acids.
Those substances, while being toxic, are also suspected to be of a carcinogenic nature, which might cause cancerous disease development later in life. Hence, BE AWARE that only consume PROPERLY COOKED or processed durian seeds.
I Boiled this seeds for about 1hour and 30mins. Yes!..to make it very tender and easy to eat. You can use your cooking pot to contain the water and the seeds.
After the boiling is finished, drain the water.
Peel off the skin of the seed and separates it from the insides.
