Perfect is always going to be subjective in cooking, but you know...this could be perfect for somebody 🙂

using a spoon to pour butter on top doesn't make any sense......just flip it over and over which you are doing any way.

Because you're cooking the meat from below and also above by spooning the hot fat over it repeatedly, it will cook faster than if you were to sear it without the basting procedure. And I might be wrong, but you get more flavour into your steak by doing it.

I would like to see you doing a medium rare steak too if possible

This is a great idea, thanks for the recommendation. It's pretty much the same but cooked a bit less 🙂 Thanks for watching

@@KitchenDraft The video is very inspiring! I find it sometimes really not easy to understand when the steak is cooked enough but not too much.

@@XSD.1. I totally understand you, that's why the best way to know when the steak is cooked medium rare is to check it with a probe thermometer in the center and if you don't have one there is an Amazon link in description to get one 🙂 This is the temperature you are looking for 52ºC / 125ºF

looks good boss! I saw a video the other day how to make "fake" steak. Don't know if it really works, but the guy said you can take ground meat and stick it together and the fibers will bind together when cooked to make it look like 1 whole piece of meat. I'm sure yours is real though

There are all sorts of scammers and because of the high prices of quality meat, this is more and more tempting for them. This is a real meat I used, not the best quality but if you use a reputable supplier you won't have any problems with this. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
