Fresh frozen mackerel - 2 pcs. (total weight of 4 fillets - 560 g)
Salt - 1 tsp (mackerel turns out lightly salted, if you like stronger salting, increase the amount of salt)
Sugar - 0.5 tsp
Bay leaf - 2-4 pcs.
Black pepper - 0.5 tsp
Coriander - 0.5 tsp
Garlic - 4 cloves
1. Wash the mackerel, remove the head, tail, entrails, backbone, ribs and fins.
2. Mix salt, sugar, chopped bay leaves, ground black pepper, coriander. Sprinkle the mackerel fillet. Sprinkle minced garlic on top.
3. Lay the mackerel fillets on top of each other.
4. Pack in cling film. Leave to salt and marinate at room temperature for 3-5 hours or in the refrigerator for 10-12 hours. After salting, put the mackerel in the freezer for at least 2-3 hours so that it freezes.
5. Frozen mackerel cut into thin slices, frozen mackerel can be cut very thinly. Let it thaw for 15-20 minutes and you can serve.
