I used to do it like this until I bought a rice cooker, now we use a rice cooker, but this is still in my book a superb method.

Does the brand of basmati rice matter? Is cheap tesco stuff ok? What brand of rice do you use? I've seen more expensive "aged 2 years" basmati rice. Would that be better?

I use Laila or Kohinoor brand rice. But there is some other good brand aswell. But never buy gold packet rice. They are not good.

Use my egg fried rice recipe. Just dnt add egg. Also make sure rice is one day old. And it's warm before you add it in the wok. I will try upload a video soon.
