Italian stuffed Calamari (squid) is a classic Italian dish, that is suitable for any occasion, but is often served on holidays. It is a delicious and fairly inexpensive fish dish.
Recipe:
6 cleaned squid, tentacles removed from bodies
3 cloves chopped garlic
¼ cup chopped garlic
7 slices diced white bread
¼ cup chopped prosciutto
1 ½ cups chopped mozzarella
1 cup grated Parmigiano cheese
¼ cup chopped parsley
2 eggs
8 oz crushed san Marzano tomatoes
Salt, pepper to taste
Pinch of parsley
Pinch of oregano
Yields 2-3 servings. Serve over your favorite pasta.
