Thanks. When you want to make round chapatis, roll one side and the turn it at 90 degrees and keep repeating the process. If you go around the chapati to make it round, that's alot
If u want to learn how to make paratha and roti then mam u need to watch nishamadhulika channel or any other Indian youtuber channel. We eat chapatti everyday but we use wheat flour not refined flour mam
Valia Kikkidou both chapatis cook very well, coz you have to turn back and check that all four sides are cooked well, it helps alot in balancing the oil in the chapati.
I think the bread flour is designated for that specific purpose ,May have raising agents while chapatis don't need that, can do chapati flour, all purpose flour
I thought the reason people knead the dough for like 10 mins was to develop the gluten and make the dough stretchy and soft? Am I wrong? I'd definitely rather do the 2 minutes method lol!
hey ivy,ten minutes too much, instead of getting soft the dough will become tough,Not more than five minutes is enough to complete the dough making process, forming and aligning of gluten is more achieved in the resting of the dough as much as the mixing is important.hope you habe given it a try already
Wow in India The main food is roti Which means chapati in my mother tongue from India either wise it is called roti and the recipe is same man how come
Evah good instructional video, however from hygiene point of view I shuddered at the choice of plain tiles with lurking bacteria and dirty grime in the tile joints. A piece of wood platter (which you already have) or maybe new chopping board would have been better than rolling chapatis on tiles. As you can see from the video it's the tile joints (moulding grout) not the tile itself that's unhygienic (from 4:15 to 4:35 you are indirectly actually pressing dough into the bacteria ridden joints !!). Also a suggestion :- while in the pan if you cook them dry, and once cooked apply a thin layer of butter and while still warm give your children half each to eat (your children will love you to bits and you wont know where all your chapatis are disappearing so quickly !!)
@@evahomemade-Ke the hot water makes chapat to be hard chapat ni ukandaji but not hot water if you don't believe it just try you will get the different
