Please more easy meals for single people!! It’s exhausting cooking for only me all the time and I struggle with decision fatigue when the end of the day hits and I still have to decide on what to make myself for dinner. Simple meals like this using things I probably already have on hand are soooooo ideal!!
You can meal prep! If you are fine eating the same for a few days in a row. It's really just about making it in a bigger quantity. Put it in containers, with rice, and keep in your fridge. I prefer to do 3 meals, but if you're extremely short on time, do more. Beyond a week it might be better to freeze them, but 3 days is enough for most people
I’m with you there! It’s so hard unless it’s super simple. Though sometimes making a big meal to just have leftovers for for a few days is also the way to go!!
@@SkillAuraRYT it's clear that she / he is lazy lol .. she/ he said that they don't don't want to cook for their self because they are alone so they should starved and only after that they will cook and eat to survive.
Thank you this was really helpful. I’m a vegetarian beginner so i really needed help seeing how to cook my vegetarian/vegan food. I’m more of a visual learner than reading instructions. Thank you 😊
Thank you for this recipe! It came out so delicious. I didn’t have sesame oil so I used just toasted sesame seeds and it turned out great with the extra texture. My brother who’s a picky eater loved it too. 😋👏
Maddie, we made this tonight. It was perfect and a hit! It is going to be a staple / go to meal. Every recipe I have done of yours has been REALLY GOOD. Thank you and bless you!
Thank you so much! I’m single and still learning how to cook for myself and craved a dish with tofu. I was able to make this with no issue! Came out fantastic. 😊
Thank you for this... I've just begun making tofu weekly for myself, like starting about two months ago. I've been afraid of adding veggies to it in the pan so I haven't been one-bowl-ing it like this... But now that I've seen yours!!! Haha Thank you for your time and effort for these videos! I would love more ideas on tofu, Korean or not, but I have been trying to eat in a "Korean way" with banchan, rice, and kimchi for most of my meals. Thank you so much again, this looks so tasty!!!
It’s always crazy to me how the same Korean meal can be made so differently by different families. Mine makes it without all the veggies, just green onions, and no vinegar. While the one I buy at my local Korean market makes it with a paste-like sauce over top instead of cooking them together
This was SOOO good, thanks! Had a blast at the local asian market which was also super fun. They have it organized where each aisle is a different country. So fun!
I made this thinking it would be a couple steps up from mid. Didn't expect to have my mind blown. This is going to be a staple meal for me, thanks for sharing.
This is one of my favorite tofu dishes that I make. Let me say, tofu is my absolute favorite food! Dubu Jorim always hits the spot and everyone that I've ever made it for absolutely loves it. Of all of the many ways that I prepare, use, and cook tofu, this is a popular one. Lovely video! ❤️
Made this today! I really loved the taste and so happy after having a meal that’s delicious but at the same time healthy. The only thing I did differently was I replaced sugar with honey and vinegar with lemon juice. I also paired it with rice noodles instead of rice. I recommend you to try the recipe if you want a meal under 30 minutes 😌
For my meal prep, On a Sunday I prepare tofu, vegetables with lots of mushrooms and pasta. I also have salad on hand,..I alternate the foods no boredom….. great video..
In my country (india) we also make this , but with paneer its something like tofu and the then we add spices and onion and bell peppers , we call it chilli paneer . ❤😊
@@Tom1573realist the reason a lot of people don't call paneer cheese is because it really is nothing like any other cheese even though it techincally is
We make a similar dish in India with paneer instead of tofu, paneer and tofu are very similar except paneer is made of milk... It's called chilli paneer here
Myb its out of topic but i used to cook with my boyfriend all the time. It was the thing we liked to do the most. Now i find it hard to cook on my own i just used to love cooking but now i cant seem to enjoy it
That looks delicious and I’ll try the recipe for sure! Half of a tofu block is definitely not enough for me though, with a delicious meal like this I need to be able to take seconds 🙏🏻
I’m not single but I made it anyways bc I’m the only vegan in my household…so I guess it’s kind of the same thing. 😆 Made it twice now and it’s fantastic!
Now me personally, I like to prepare dubu jorim the evening ahead. It just tastes so much better once it had time to sit a little in the fridge after it's done. :)
This is so cool I'm from India and my Grandmother makes an Indian version of this with Paneer(cottage cheese) instead of tofu. I am so surprised seeing this . Like every region every race have their own version of same recipes lol
Wait I am a single person with tofu and this is always my go-to meal xD but I didn't know it was an actual dish with a name! I usually add cabbage and enoki mushrooms with the panfried tofu, or any other veggies I have left over from the week P: but all of the other ingredients for the sauce are the same. I feel so seen haha
