Down south here it's either $10k+ for not great LRs that still need a lot of maintenance or $2-3k and they are barely alive.

Avoid the L322 models with the BMW M62 engine as they have especially noisy adjustable cam phasers and timing chain rattles at startup. Hard to believe the Ford derived AJ-V8 versions are better in this regard but they are somewhat more robust in this area unless heavily neglected.

I bought Grant's old LR3 so in part I feel like I helped a bit with the bad decision to buy a super charged L322. Looks like a good buy. LR3 is still going strong couple months later and even fixed the battery light. Enjoy the videos!
