Here Plozn Bladz shows the correct way to cut rubber for the Moerman Liquidator channel. You can buy them pre cut from Moerman but some might want to trim their own rubber. If you are going to do that you need to make sure you trim it correctly. Polzn Bladz explains.

Cutting with a scraper blade like an Unger gives a very clean cut

Ettore all the way. I cut my rubbers using a stanley blade and a hammer, placing the rubber on a block of wood. So much better and cleaner cut than with a pair of scissors.

Using a scraper is another method, it may make more presice 90° cuts.

Moerman channels are awesome to work with! They are light and presice. A downside is the Moerman blade and the full angle, that has tip flex. I use Ettore master Pro medium blades, the flush ends are kept, the full angle is not. I cut a wedge on the end leaving some "meat" on the end reducing tip flex, also Unger green clips to anchor them. Those blade MODs enhance the channel. Using a razor blade ensures straight 90° cuts. The amount of soap used is reduced and still has good glide.

just use the original rubber as a template...job done.

Wanted to ask, what solution do you use that makes it look soapy like that because it doesn't look like dawn. If it is, what's the ratio you use?

Never cut with scissors ! Very sharp blade is always best. Scissors pinch the rubber before it cuts 👍

+asboss63 With the right pair of scissors you don't pinch your rubber. Don't ever use the cheap ones from the supermarket, but a high-grade version.

Generally a nice video, but missed some vital parts, because they were out of shot. It would be nice if someone could do a comprehensive video on the Liquidator with someone else filming it, rather than a camera in a static position. Personally, I have never got on with scissors. I use a blade, but that's cleaning for you; everyone to theirown!
