Mere periods 4 to 5 days hotte hai lekin un hone kaha hai ki 2nd day of periods se lena hai yeh pill for pcod , why?? Periods regular hai lekin phir bhi doctor ne yeh prescribe kiya cuz ultrasound mai polycyctic ovary thw will this meds be safe unhone ne mujhe diane 35 and myofolic sachet bhi prescribe kiya is it safe to take it?? OCPs are perfectly safe in PCOD women unless it's contraindicated in you (like history of breast cancer, cervical cancer, stroke , thromboembolism, Deep vein thrombosis, etc) They will not regularise the cycles, but also reduce bleeding and pain during periods, and should be taken by PCOD women, will prevent further hormonal imbalance and thereby complications too...

I immediately bought this (emergency contraceptive pills) and ya its more than 72hours my friend recommended me 😊 But still i think I've to take regular contraceptive pills from now on after i get my periods 😅

IUD (aka IUC or coil) still has hormones. It comes in the form of levenorgestrol (progesterone). But it is easier for people who tend to forget as well as it is the safest and most effective way to prevent pregnancy. Epilepsy is neurotical disease. Birth control pill doesn't have any association with....these kinda but for safer side I advise u to use condom during intersex..

Hello mam, this video is very helpful. My doctor prescribed me one medicine which having 28 tablet in one pack like active and non active pills. As you said you should finish first pack from the 1st day of period until 21 days and you have to start next pack after 8th day whether nxt period is done or not. So my question is if I take first pack and if my periods didn't come before finishing my inactive pills so what should I do Or if my period comes in between 22 to 28 th day so should I have to stop taking inactive pills and start the second pack from 29th day?

Last 7 pills in your 28tab pack are placebo pills. It is normal to bleed during placebo pills. Start the next pack after first gets over.

I started birth control to deal with excessive pain and bleeding during my periods. I was not able to function for 4 days a month, and these pills have been a HUGE blessing to my everyday life and energy level. They changed my life. But I am concerned about the side effects of taking harmonal pills on blood clots and cancer. I heard about Saheli as a non hormonal birth control pill. What does the research say on that? Would you recommend that over hormonal pills for period management?

I had periods on Sunday(1st day) around 11 pm at night but I started taking the first Saheli pill from Monday(2nd day). Then I took the second pill on Wednesday(4th day) since considering the 1st day of period was on Sunday. Now I'm planning to take the pills every Sunday and Wednesday after dinner until 3 months. Some people miss periods / have irregular flow on the pill. As long as you start your new pack on time, you can have sex in this gap between packs and be protected. *Assuming you aren’t already pregnant* , which you can rule out by taking a pregnancy test. Note if you take the test very early on, you can get a false negative result.
