Most people seem to for get that Deadsec has 2 abilities! Another counter to the spider can be the hack ability. Just make it turn around and run back to its sender!

i'd add that emps counter all libertad and echelon abilities (except ults of course). also dedsec hack is good against phantom shield and libertad health pack

I think the best way to take out a bubble is with a spider, rushing it with cleaners or any other faction is a sure fire way to make you dead, that or wait it out but that's not always an option in the final seconds of some objective modes.

At 3:46 the walls on the side are easy to wallbang (the wall removes like no damage), so if you see a shield there, you can just shoot the wall in the corner and get a free kill.

another thing is if your opponent is using the echelon scan on you and you have good game sense you could play off them being able to see you and juke them into pushing through a cooked nade or firebomb or just timing your swing on them really well. they have to be close (ish) to see you so when you get that notif always be ready

You said it. Intel suit is so busted. But phantoms, constantly putting down shields while also having 20% more hp. Is also busted to. Those 2 things need some tweaking. I think 100hp for all is just the best thing to do for phantoms.

I’ve been using Libertad pretty much exclusively. Like any other class based shooter, nobody wants to be the medic but everybody wants to be healed 😂

I feel like theres can be some ways to counter echelon and libertad, in a lot of ways as well. When in comes with individual 1 on 1 interaction with there ultras phantom can do good with libertad because phantom ultra do actually 200 damage so he can one shot her, but thats more on 1 on 1 interaction with a full team is very tough honestly, also echelon goggles can beat libertad ultra with two shots you can kill her, and for echelon is hard because she is definitely the best faction, you cover pretty good some of her counterplay when it comes down to factions counter others, i also try to play around using phantom wall using as my protection even if she try to flank me, but is still hard because she can just wait for my wall to run out and im pretty much down 😂. But either way really great video some of the dedsec counters are actually really useful that didn't have no idea about it

Great video. Although with the spider-bot latching on to your teammate, melee it instead of firing, as if you fire, the enemies can see you on the minimap. WIth meele, you can destroy the spider-bot if it latches on your teammate while remaining silent.

Another great way to counter the Phantom's virginity shield(Ult) is to use a shotgun. Slide in and shoot as soon as you can. Their weapon has a very shot charge up time, and usually you can kill them just a little bit faster. And with the sawn-off coming to the game(and according to leaks being a secondary), you wouldn't even have to sacrifice your primary.

It seems like you often forget that each faction has two abilities.... DeadSec's hack ability is the counter to Echelon and also Phantom's shield. DeadSec's ultimate can instantly shut down all ultimates. As you said, against a decent player, the spiderbot is a waste of an ability. The hack ability is the strongest way to play especially mid-way through a match and close to the end when everyone is getting close to getting ultimates. Echelon is very strong but almost glass-cannon in certain ways. The invis is very easy to see and like I said already, countered easily by DeadSec. The radar suit is also easily countered by DeadSec. Echelon's ultimate is really fun. The Cleaner's are just as potent as Echelon. If you're fast and strategic, that drone can be used to clear an objective point almost instantly and then you just mop up right after the explosion. The Purifier is also incredibly strong if used properly. I've wiped entire teams multiple times thus far. Libertad's healing doesn't heal fast enough and the insta-heal has too long of a "warm-up" so they're almost always the worst choice to play as. The ultimate is amazing for those last-chance zone caps. Also, their ultimate and the heal "bomb" can be destroyed.

thanks for your advice, i think people are only really bothered about the echelon op wall hacks and there isn't a lot u can do if the whole team uses it, don't get me wrong i do well on this game but i don't tolerate noob friendly bs like this, so unless they fix that and also add more incentives or something to grind for i dont care for this game. Smoke grenades will either be a counter, or complementary to Echelon, and I don't know which one is worse. An Echelon running smoke would be a nightmare if they can still ping targets.

Very good video, it's so much better to think about ways to counter things instead of complaining in Reddit or something. That being said, I recently uninstalled because I don't think I'm vibing too much with all those one hit kill ultimates and skills, and I can't stand how Echelon's wallhacks disrupt the flow of the game. But I hope Ubisoft will end up balancing it all eventually, it's a very young game.

Spider drones best counter is Hacking from deadsec to me u can just send them to owner or other enemy

The best counter is the EMP. Stops just about everything.

The cleaners Molotov can stop the spider bot

You can counter phantom barrier by detsec hack to flip it to friendly barrier.

Deadsec can hack just about everything...from the mines to the little drop down health pack from Libertad.

Totally missed Hijack. Take over shields, take over the healing pylons on the ground. Take over prox mines. Fairly certain you can convert drones mid flight too.

dedsec can hack the spiderbots, fire drones, phantom shield, i think the intel suit, libertads heal pool, and prox mines

Think you downplay phantoms a bit. they're really good against echelon, cleaners, and if youre a solo phantom on the team, unlikely the opposing team will focus on emp grenades. phantoms are excellent for the LMG class because you dont have mobility, so the shield gives you cover and that ultra is excellent for lmg too because it gives you a strong close range weapon to mix up your playstyle with. its also very good vs echelon as you said and its great to stop tick damage because of higher health. its easily the third best faction. def better than cleaner and dedsec. as time goes on dedsec will definitely be a bad faction as people get used to stopping spiders and get better at it

You are absolutely sleeping on Cleaners. Not only is their hurtbox the jankiest of the game but firebomb is way better than you are giving it credit. Staying at a distance isn't really an option if you play any objective mode, and the amount of times I've slid in or jumped from above, firebombed two or three and then killed the rest is disturbingly high. Especially if you play against only controllers trying to track someone sliding past you before they just blow you up is deceivingly difficult to stop. Edit: Also using firebomb on Libertad's ult can help mitigate it but if you don't play cleaners or close range I recommend the SVD, it can wipe out someone even on her ult if you are hitting headshots.
