I consider myself the kind of bow pve main that made all their squad grind for a good bow just to prove that Hierarchy of needs full bow dps phases were a thing and then failed miserably but still comes clutch in nightfalls (you can try this just grab a point of the stag from the kiosk and get that warlord's ruin triumph!)

when I was working on deadeye I was surprised how well I did with a double trace rifle loadout. Also discovered one of my linear fusions (crafted fire and forget) was a solid option.

These were great. You frogot one PvE HC user - Malf enjoyer. I say this because it has been my go to, hard to run anything else right now. Not sure what my favourite PvE gun type is anymore. Probs swap between Pulse/SMG/Hand Cannon but love bows too - but the Exotics are where it is at.

I unironically like pulse and scout rifles in pvp (the former usually a crafted phyllotactic with headseeker, the latter is something with exploding payload). I might not be right in the head according to this vid based on these picks, but at the end of the day, they usually getting the job done (not really fond of pvp, but I'm doing it for the bright dust/cosmetic stuff). In any case, keep up the good work! 👍

For my own scout rifle main stereotype: I am someone who likes sniper, but can’t quite handle the very narrow field of view. So I went with the middle ground, and will forever be salty that Bungie has stated outright that they don’t want my favorite guns to be too good.

I'm a bit of a mixed bag. I don't have a solid #1 favorite weapon type, but when it comes to weapon types,, I have a #1 favorite of each category. Bow: Accrued Redemption - I like the Vex aesthetic of the bow. Hand Cannon: Bear with me here. Eriana's Vow. For shits and giggles, I use it with Lucky Pants and another handcannon. Sidearm: I'm partial to Forerunner, but I miss Breachlight. Pulse Rifle: Blast Furnace. It was such a cool gun. Auto Rifle: Sweet Business, Yeah I'm one of those fuckers with Actium War Rig in Trials. Sniper Rifle: Izanagi's Burden - I like the sword sound it makes when you supercharge it. Fusion Rifle: Glacioclasm - with certain Dawning shaders, it looks beautiful. Trace Rifle: Divinity because I rarely get to use it, and I worked so hard to get it. Shotgun: Retold Tale. It was the first Legendary shotgun I got. SMG: Tarrabah. When that stuff was on its way to getting vaulted, I did Crown once and got it. Scout Rifle: Symmetry with the Binary System ornament is so clean. GL Special: Ex Diris because it's about time we make those Hive Knights taste their own medicine. GL Heavy: Anarchy - it was powerful back then and it's okay now, but still looks baller as fuck Glaive: I would have said Albedo Wing if it was actually good, but Lubrae's Ruin is badass. Sword: Hero of Ages. It just looks like what I'd expect a sword to look like. Rocket Launcher: Gjallarhorn. I never got to use it before Grasp of Avarice and it's just so fucking cool. Linear Fusion Rifle: Cataclysmic. I love the aesthetic of it. Machine Gun: Hammerhead - bring back Black Armory weapons, Bungie

had a lot of fun with a frost titan build, which relied on sliding and a 1&2 combo with a light frame shotgun. May not be the most ingenuitive build but had a lot of fun sliding like 10m in 1 second

As a sidearm main exclusively in pvp and pve more specifically devils ruin if you couldn’t tell from my name it NEVER leave my inventory and rarely my energy slot in pve or pvp but I do engage in double sidearm sheningens in pvp

I have a specific combo that I know will serve me when I need it to. It's bow + auto rifle. Could be wish ender and something in the energy slot, or monte carlo and probably strident whistle. Or old sterling and le monarque. That formula has gotten a little broader though since the full auto mod for pulse rifles came out. Honorable power weapon mentions include Whisper, Leviathan's Breath, Parasite, and that one Roar of the Bear I got that's got I think incandescent.

I've always been a firm HC enjoyer in PvE, and the moment Season of the Witch rolled around with the glorious Hand Cannon buff I've had an HC glued to either one of my primary slots whenever possible.

Actually, as a scout main in PvP, most people don't know how to handle being shot by the full auto veist scouts from a LONG time ago and either keep charging you, freeze to look at you, or immediately vacate whatever lane you're holding and never return without back-up.

As a Glave main who does almost exclusively GM's and Raids... you really got my number with this one!

Titan main- gotta say I have been using Machine guns a lot lately. Got a hammerhead with killing tally and 4th times and paired it with actium war rig. Extra 30% damage as long as I don't stow or reload (never have to). Long as theres a brick I can not only one shot body most ads, but do okay dps too. Pretty fun.

Pve player whose usual liad out is a solar pulse rifle with incandescent and apwx predator with either witherhoard, izinagi, or arbelast. With the Brave weapons now in game I sometimes use a mountain top and swap the apex for gally, or I will run an incandescent lunas howl with heal clip instead of my pulse rifle (the pulse is the one from the reworked prophecy dungeon cant remember its name) I also occasionally use the void LMG exotic that shoots slow and debuffs targets but only when I'm running nighthawk so I can still debuffs but also can use my solar build the rest of the time.

That hand cannon segment was unexpectedd enough to make me almost ruin my keyboard with raspberry lemonade

I main hand cannon in PvE and I've mostly used lumina and ace. Although I have been enjoying DMT plinking in PvP

Ok normally i dont do the "omg literally me" but the pulse rifle, auto rifle, and sniper is absolutely perfect. I mained doctrine of passing and grasp of malok in d1 with a 1k yd stare in d1 and now i use chroma rush, darkest before, and adored or defiance of Yasmin for the kinetic. Also i love high elves lmao

It's rare because it needs to be the adept version so you can equip the adept range mod, but Swordbreaker adept is a PvP GODTIER shotgun. It can get the full 7m falloff and consistently 1-hit kills without needing to slide (no need for slideshot). You can have full choke and still reach that 7m falloff with threat detector and opening shot to reach that max 100 range plus accuracy benefits and tighter pellet spread; and what this does is make your movement faster since it's a lightweight while it has high handling since it's a lightweight for better quick-swaps on top of threat detector maxing your handling out at 100, and since it's again a lightweight it has a quicker RPM so you can follow up shoot a second shot very quickly if they aren't quite in punching range. Sometimes I purposely shoot my first shot too soon which tends to bait them into shooting their shot too soon but I have the easy quick follow-up because they're using Conditional and I shoot way faster. Pair with Stasis Warlock and it doesn't matter that you aren't using Conditional because your freezing abilities fill that gap and you're a walking anti-super that kills bubbles just as easily as Conditional. The speed benefits are a boon when you freeze a target and have to close the gap quickly, plus the high handling quick-swapping for the same reason. It's the only lightweight shotgun in the game that reaches that full 7m falloff without needing slideshot which just makes it so much more flexible and usable in all situations instead of just the aping ones, and threat detector is basically always on so it essentially is a shotgun that always has 100 range and 100 handling plus full choke no matter if you slide or not with movement speed benefits and a significantly quicker RPM...add the freeze abilities and it's Conditional on meth!!! Ignitions are the one thing Conditional has over it but I find myself picking this over Conditional all the time.

Here is the thing, the only Auto Rifle I use is the Sweet Business, I don't use other Auto rifles even if its under that umbrella. Why you say? Well.... I played D2's Early demo and fell in love with that gun sense. After getting it years later I used that for the longest time. Sweet Business for everything, Shotgun for close quarters combat and my LMG like gun for that extra pack of punch. Thats my playstyle. I even used Sweet Business in Crucible as well, The only downside is the time to rev up the barrel so I have to make sure its spinning early enough to fire because it leaves me open.

I'm mostly an auto rifle main on the occasion I play pvp, primarily always using Vex myth(My current highest kill count is with Quicksilver), or Warden's Law when I'm feeling a hand cannon that day, but I always have shotgun equipped as a second. I currently mostly use Until It's Return, in that regard, or Mindbender's Ambition if I'm not using the slot for Vex. But when I'm in a mood to just have fun, I always pull out Duality. Or The Last Word when I'm in a weird mood. Duality and Warden's Law are my favorite weapons to use in the game. Next to Tommy's Matchbook.(I rock that 1920's mobster play style pretty well, especially as a Sanguine warlock main)

As a trace rifle user, definitely got me right minus I’ve never got the 2 exotics you mention for pve. But if I ever do, I’ll be right there using them.
