Filling expansion joints is one of those tricky subjects that everyone seems to argue about in epoxy flooring. One of the great benefits of epoxy flooring is the seamless look, so we don’t want any joints to be showing. And this is where the debate begins: Should we be filling the expansion joints, and if yes, what should we use to fill the joints?
Broadly speaking there are two types of floor joints that we will discuss in this article: The structural joints and the concrete slab joints. The approach required to deal with each type of joint is very different, so below I analyze both cases separately
