Today my jee main result is out and i failed so badly I couldn't clear the cutoff. I know it seems very hard to get into bits. But i will try my level best. I have no confidence, I failed in vit (got 80k ranks) fail in jee mains (even couldn't clear the cut off) and also failed in Wbjee. But i will try again and last time to get BITs and today I promise.. I will edit my comment aftr result. I swear this time i am going to make it. Edited :-Got 146 in session 1 . Finally:- 258💕💕💕in session 2 .
Same bro😢 I got 89 percentile but couldn't clear the cutoff..And in vit I got 1.6 lakh rank..it was unexpected rank..but ya ab kr bhi kya sakte hai..bits he last option hai..🙃
i failed jee miserably, i failed viteee, i failed met, its all my fault , i had panic attacks everyday but i hope i can get into bits.. i hope i have the motivation and determination to drag myself everyday
Also there's no two cutoffs, there's only 1 cutoff, you clear it, voila because every paper is random, so there's no definite difficulty or increase or any predictions that can be made

Secondly i am a bit confused that should i prepare for BITS or adv because the pattern is quite different. like i am 95 and almost 99 percentiler in mains so what should i expect from mysekf right now. Because tbh i know its not the college but the surrounding i get. So just a minor suggestion would help. Thank you and Kudos for such hard work
Hey thanks and congrats for the mains score.. The concepts and syllabus overlaps a lot for both the exams and you need to be clear with the basics for either one of them. The difference majorly lies in the level and amount of questions. So, if you confident enough then study for advance and give a few BITSAT mock tests.
I think you should focus on Adv bcz god forbids if u can't clear it by any chance then you will still have 2nd attempt for bits in June and you will get enough days after adv to prepare for bits
That's a good percentile, I think you should focus on advanced prep, because doing advanced questions will be helpful for bitsat but you would find it difficult to solve advanced questions if you're just focusing on bitsat. So majorly, try to do the syllabus from an advanced perspective, but take out time for mock tests and eng and LR (which probably wouldn't take more than 2 hours in total to prepare).
Dii I have one question, can we practice neet pyq's for physics and chemistry ?! Coz bits pyq's are all memory based and also very few. Although I'm giving mock test every alternate days but for practicing particular chapters can we go for ? that ?!
Try to study them especially if you know they are the imp ones. However, stop studying new material 10 days/ 1week before the exams and focus only on the syllabus that has already been completed.

Hello didi! A 2024 BITSAT Aspirant this side!! could you please tell us where we can find all these pyq's ya'll are talking about? Ive searched everywhere and i couldnt find even a single py bitsat paper.. although there are some Memory based papers.. are those what ya'll are talking about or does bits actually release a set of pyqs?

The syllabus varies a little, you’ll find it on the BISAT website. BITSAT pyqs would be more relevant tbf and try to give as many tests as possible. Leaving this aspect until the very last would not be advisable.

Bro math ke liye bas practice he recommended hai. Jitna ho sake utna practice karo, jyada lengthy calculation nahi aayega. But also, math ke chakkar mein physics and chemistry ka practice yah revision kam mat karna for they are your strengths.

Your mains score does not have to reflect your BISTAT score. Just prepare well, give tests and analyse them and more importantly don’t give up at the last moment. Just believe in yourself and the work you’ve put in so far. All the best!
Since I am not getting reply to my queries so I am writing it down to you. Please reply to it didi it's a request from you. I have passed my 12th board in 2022 but not eligible for bitsat due it's 75% criteria. For me bits pilani is my first choice. I will be giving CBSE marks improvement exam this year. But the problem is the form for second attempt would be out till May and the improvement exam will be held between August - September. And furthermore bitsat allows only single drop so 2024 would make me a double dropper. So is there anything you could suggest me or I can fill the form and update my improvemed marksheet later on ?
As per the website your latest score should be taken into account. Tbh, BITS admin can answer your question properly, so I’d suggest you contact them using the mail or phone number given on the bitsadmission website (scroll down a little and you’ll find this section). Afaik they do respond to mails and calls.
Didi I've done decent (more than decent) level of prep for jee but i want bitsat sooo badd... Can i crack it in one month if I give my heart and soul into it completely..
how difficult is it to get desired branch after opting for any dual degree? I am not sure about which branch I want to pursue so I want to explore them in first year
If you get an 8.5+ cgpa in your first year, you should have all the options (branches) open (can vary). While getting this score is not difficult, people tend to get burnt out and some do not prioritise their acads. Also, be sure that you are willing to put in effort for another year like competitively. Take these things into consideration and then choose your degree.
See scholarships are available. However I’m gonna be very honest that the merit scholarships are harder to get but the merit cum need scholarships are comparatively easier provided you fit the criteria. I’d say give both the exams but once you’ve read the scholarship criteria decide which of the two exams you’d focus more on.
You’ll find them online, just search for BITSAT pyq’s. As you said BITS does not release the questions officially, so these questions are what students remember from memory which in most cases is reliable enough.
I have a question,actually i didn't fill up the bitsat first attempt form so what can i do ? And my jee mains also didn't went well so can i just focus on second attempt only. means can someone crack bitsat in only one attempt i.e directly the second one ? It really helps me a lot if you answer

Hey, so the Bpharma cutoffs fall comparatively on the lower side. For the material for pcb, sorry but I am not the right person to answer this question. I’d suggest you look it up on google or RU-vid.

Tbh it’s difficult to say cause the official cutoffs have not been released. Also because of the change in pattern, it’s difficult to judge the trend based on previous years data. I think you should be able to get it but 200+ would be a safe score.
