The dual degree program runs for five years. I guess you could do it in four and half if you managed to graduate early, by overloading your courses. But again, that just depends on your ability as a student and if that works for you. 😊
Hi i have a doubt can u say, does bits consider 75 percent in pcm in only 12 th with practicals (or) 11 th + 12 th with practicals because my board gives total marks by adding 11 th and 12 th with practicals out of 1000 Pls pls give reply because i got 75 percent in pcm including practicals considering only 12 th class marks for admission

I am a UK citizen aspiring for BITS Pilani (especially the Pilani campus). I wanted to ask if the Pilani campus too takes admission via the DASA scheme or not? I know about Hyderabad and Goa, but not sure about the Pilani Campus.
there are far much better institutes in UK than BITs pilani if you have money spend in abroad institutes and if you have balls then get admission in IITs through foreign scheme, for that you have to give JEE advanced exam and please for god sake don't compare BITS with MIT never in dreams

And yes, I am also preparing for JEE Advanced and am expecting a decent rank for CSE in an old IIT. I just wanted to know the procedure for BITS Pilani as the Pilani campus CSE is quite comparable to old IITs.
But it is a college where all deserving students get the seat . Not like our government colleges ( IITs and nits ) where 60 to 65 percent seats are reserved. Or like state quota in nits .
I didn’t get ragged as badly as everyone else (even though that stopped almost completely around 2017). But I did face a lot of discrimination on being an NRI.
How do students from different universities (India) apply to workshops in bits pilani (Hyderabad) any eligibility criteria(related to cse) , registration fees

Yeah, so I haven’t applied for masters myself (so I can’t really answer the question properly) but many of my batchmates have gotten into universities like Carnegie Mellon, Berkeley etc. So you would def have a good shot! Also, keep in mind that this also depends on your qualifications as a person, and not just the college that you go to.
What's the intime for the girls hostels and how are they.. alsooo it would be amazing if u could show us some pictures of the hostel, the mess or just the campus itself
Hey, so when I was there, the intime was 2 am for the girls hostel (not sure about now). I will have to check my phone if I have any pictures ( I probably do, I’ve just switched my phone like 3 times lol)
@@goodbyengoodriddance6066 For the DASA scheme you need an SAT score. If you're applying with the BITSAT score you'll just go down the regular admission route.
@@athena2597 hey i got a question, if were foreinger and i pass 12th examination with 75% of aggregate marks in 2022 i.e this year. Can i apply for international student admission thru SAT right after next consecutive year? Which is 2023.
It should be doable, CSE goes for 2400 but you should be fine with your score as well. As far as I know, they don’t place much emphasis on the board score. Otherwise, you can always switch branches at the end of first year.
I mean in my batch we only had a handful of international students, in total there were about 50 students or so. I don’t know about how many were in each branch. :p
No, it’s mandatory for students to remain on campus. There is an apt complex near campus called Exodus or something and one guy’s parents stayed there. But students can’t. :p

The CS placements are not bad - of course it depends on which batch of placements you go for Sem1 or Sem2. People from my batch got into Microsoft, Deloitte and Paypal. There were some startups that came as well.
After seeing this video, there's no way I'm going to join BITS. ...I seriously doubt if I'll be able to survive the blood loss I incur from the frequent nosebleeds that are bound to happen if even a tenth of the girls over there look half as good as you do ffs kill me already 😩

I’m not sure what you mean by racism. I won’t sugarcoat it, there are some people who are not the nicest, but that applies to life in general. The BITSIAN community is extremely accepting as a whole. Personally, I haven’t experienced any racism. The environment at BITS is no different from the environment at any other campus in India, you will find good people and bad people. Just seek out the good ones, and I guarantee you will have a good time. :)
