I am a textile artist here in New Orleans. Cheers form the French quarter. There is simply no substitute for pride of craft. I love watching things come to life under the hands of skilled artisans. This is wonderful work.
Hello - Im a tailor of bespoke historical suits [1890 - 1930] - Cheers from an English man in Bulgaria. "I love watching things come to life under the hands of skilled artisans" - the feeling I get from months of having this crumpled pile of cloth on my lap that I am sewing and shaping and steaming and stretching and stitching and stitching, stitching the shape and form INTO the very structure of the garment so you can crumple it up in a bag for 10 years and it will always spring back to shape... and it grows out of my hands into this clean and pristine perfectly smooth and shaped garment that can easily last 50 years of wear, maybe 3 generations of use... Its as close as I, a man, can come to creating life
I have always wanted to have a bespoke suit, I hope one day to make this a reality, I too love to watch a master craftsman at work. Cheers! and Happy 2024!@@piccalillipit9211
I love the japanese people! They are elevated to a superior level. The attention to detail, the disciplin, amazing. I want to reincarnate to become a japanse craftsman. Thank you for sharing. Arigato.
I am happy too that you have a good impression of Japanese people. Craftsmanship is a wonderful profession. I hope that today's youth will find this profession as interesting as I do!
Wow, that so awesome. It reminds me of my grandma making baskets out of river cane. Me and my grandma are from cherokee. Cherokee and Japan have a lot in common especially with making baskets.
Thank you for sharing this most excellent RU-vid project and allowing us to watch a master craftsman at work. Your attention to detail and level of expertise are worthy of complete, total respect. I would be happy to spend the rest of my life learning even a small part of your skill. Thank you.
Such amazing craftsmanship was a pleasure to watch, and to see such a beautiful artistic work being created was awe inspiring. The owner of such a beautiful creation would surely be ecstatic with joy and pride in owning such a marvellous work of art. This artisan clearly takes pride in the objects he creates.
It's a very amazing thing. When I was a kid, my grandfather collected willow twigs and made baskets out of them. It's been over 20 years since he died, but his creation remains. It's a very sturdy thing. I think it will serve its owner for a long time. In this case the basket is made of bamboo, is it as strong as willow?
Thank you for your comment and for sharing your heartwarming story🙏 Yes it is very strong basket as you can have it for dairy use! I really believe these handmade products will be lifetime treasure as you think!
@@Craftsmanship-Process In any case, things made by professional craftsmen are endowed not only with quality, but also with the soul of the master, who invested in the creation of this thing soul
So much skill precision and craftmansship unbelievable from a single piece of bamboo he has an eye of excellence thank you would like to view more of his videos
Thank you so much for your comments! I was also surprised when I saw the production process for the first time. I think his skills are worthy of admiration!
I'm curious how much it costs, as I consider it shouldn't be cheap looking at the crazy amount of work and soul he put in only one briefcase That is a very high quality product
This was so relaxing and peaceful to watch. From a humble bamboo to an exquisite piece of art. It shows that everything has value. Today, people would rush production to make profits. But he took his time and patience and made something to be proud of. Much respect to him.
That’s like the definition of “elevating” something. That’s BAMBOO. Bamboo is such a cheap and available material it’s effectively worthless…but I bet I couldn’t afford that briefcase. I don’t know even have any briefs.
unlike these astoundingly overpriced overhyped learher bags from lv or hermes that i wont even buy even if i had the means, i will feel guilty using this one. feels like it belongs to a museum for everyone to admire. good job and please dont forget to pass the tradition on to the younger generations.
Me he quedado sin palabras.
Incredible piece of artistry which is peculiar I believe in most Asian cultures, especially for practical purposes. The pieces are so well executed and woven together. In my culture this would come under the heading, " raranga, " to weave together or in the case of bringing people together. Anything woven has special significance in my culture, in a spiritual and practical sense. I just admire the diligence, precision and patience this man indeed many in like professions. Thanks again and many thanks, nuku noa from New Zealand.
Thank you for your comment! Japanese traditional crafts are really wonderful and of high quality. We are proud of our products to the world. We would like people all over the world to know about s products that combine practicality and design!
The amount of attention to detail is awe inspiring. Just curious, is the “thread”, used to finish the edging and secure the black straps, also bamboo but in thinner strips? It’s so beautiful ❤

PURA ELEGANCIA
