just bc it wasn't mentioned in the vid: not every character u create has to have trauma, they can also start their emotional journey in the story instead of before it :)

But they should have a fatal flaw/ a misbelief that is challenged throughout their journey and usually strong misbeliefs are formed in childhood. Also characters need flaws

1:01 For anyone wondering: "Zettelkasten" (pronunciation/IPA: [ˈt͡sɛtl̩ˌkastn̩]) is actually German and means "paper/post it box" . It might be a synonym for the "Karteikasten" which is a box for tiny cards (which are used for e.g. vocabulary). So basically the word describes the design of the method!

I use fantasy name generator! They give good names (first and last) and they sound unique! Give that a try!

I have this creature called the Kanyu'lei meaning tangled death flower, this creature is an apex predator they look like the Demogorgon from stranger things, but they have small tail and able to flatten their teeth to look like a flower, and there is this scene in one of my storyboards that one of my death banshees or xenomorphs called Sakurai steals an egg because fun fact: the Kanyu'lei ditch their eggs, and Sakurai raises the Kanyu'lei and named it Rox'turu. And she's able to ride Rox'turu like a horse and the Kanyu'lei can run up to 60 Mph (or 96 kph). This actually helped me create this creature and give it a personality, including Rox'turu. Rox'turu (Ro-ta-ru), Kanyu'lei (Kan-u-lei) Anyways, thank you so much, comrade!

External conflict is basically just the plot...it's like the journey of your character and the challenges they face while uncovering the plot of the story
