What's up everyone!
Want to see how to create a classic Trance Kick & Bass? Today I wanted to see if I could try to recreate an old-style Trance Kick & Bass. I think you can get pretty close, but it's obviously not quite there due to using no hardware.
Unfortunately, there is no voice-over with me explaining what I'm doing as I'm going along like my other tutorials, but hopefully, you can still learn something from this Trance tutorial in Ableton.

Big thanks for this Allan, found this useful and simple enough to follow even without a commentary. Opted for Serum instead of Sylenth and the BA Chunky Bass Drop 2 [GQ] preset with some modifications gave me something cool in no time, great stuff - definitely gonna make use of your note distances/lengths too and with some tweaks it's proving much easier to get ideas down now. Thanks for sharing

House kick packs actually have these softer style trance kick in them. If you are wanting more punchy kicks though I have just released a pack full of them here - allanmorrowstudios.com/trance-music-category/samples/

Yeah! You could also do it with just a 1 layer bass also :)

the last pluck sound from sylenth which you use use also many producers nowadays and it sounds really great... it sounds like an acid preset .... you know what I mean. some friend of mine told me that its actually SAW BASS PRESET... but in this tutorial its a pluck. can you advice me pls how to achieve that sound. thanks so much!!!

The best way to see how this is made is to check out the soundbank here its included in this - allanmorrowstudios.com/trance-music/am-studios-sylenth1-trance-plucks/ its preset 009. This way you could see all of the ADSR and the effects etc used to create this exact sound :)
