Hi David and Jen, could you please do a Christmas garland on a square wide archway video please. Things like how far down the sides it should go etc. Luv from Sydney
Thank you for doing Christmas wreaths as I start soon and my head is spinning with colors and themes! David is so good at decorating and love all the ideas! Jen love seeing you too! Yes to good quality ribbon also! Beautiful as always and pray blessings on you two! Please more Christmas videos!🥳😍🥰
This s is absolutely beautiful I am loving it a lot and y you two look so happy and refreshed from your trip hope it was enjoyable for you both 😊Happy day friends 😊
I love the OLD MONEY Christmas wreath….nostalgic like when we were young!! I just may use these colors this year as I am cutting back 🥲 just can’t do as I have always done. I may just bring back traditional colors as it is always a great Christmas look and feel. Thanks again for this beautiful display.
SOOO VERY CLASSY AND OLD FASHION. LOVE IT!! ITS VERY BEAUTIFUL. WITH ITS CLASSIC ORIGINAL COLORS AND THE BULBS FROM OLD TIMES TO NOW,! SO NICE!! GOES WITH OLD CLASSY FURNISHED LIVINGROOMS!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a lovely wreath and I also repurpose my "older" ornaments and pics into my wreaths and lanterns for the hearth. Looking forward to more of your ideas and beautiful designs. Thank you.
Fabulous styling, David! Love, Love, Love the ribbon on the wreath! I agree with you about how some people just walk around and around their Christmas tree with the ribbon and it looks like big circles. When I see trees done like that, I think about the “stack-um” toy for babies that has 5-6 colorful plastic rings that look like donuts and they stack up on a wooden cone. The gorgeous ribbon and the ornaments made the wreath look Victorian to me and I am crazy about that style of decor. Would love to see more of your ideas on that theme.
This is absolutely beautiful! I'm not a red and green Christmas fan, but I love the burgundy tones. That ribbon is exquisite! This is definitely classy and not trashy🤣‼️. Awesome, as always!
I’m doing a classic “Ralph Lauren” type Christmas. I have a navy blue, kelly green, and red plaid ribbon and I’m adding gold velvet ribbon with it with coordinating trinkets on green foliage. I’m also adding some lighter blue balls that are a lighter hue of the navy, along with silver. I’ll marry the gold and silver with trinkets that are silver, gold, and white. I’m so excited as this will be my first time doing anything but traditional red and green or white and gold!
Love this David! I am always nervous that my phone will go off during church if I forget to put it on silent. Look up the ringtone Yo Phone is lignin’. Lol
Yes ribbon does make a difference. Beautiful classy and chic wreath WOW! ❤ Hope your having a beautiful summer🥰 I know it’s busy stocking season but take time for yourselves before the big season begins. 🥹
Love all the touches.. everything works together..I love how you explain how putting the ribbon on a wreath..I've doing wrong all these years..😊..now it makes scence.
@@DavidChristophers My husband and I are planning a trip to the Shoals (we live in Pensacola) to come visit the store in person. I am hoping to do that this year sometime.
The wreath as always is beautiful. I really enjoyed all the close ups on showing the mechanics as you described what you were doing. I can' decide if I am an impatient person or a visual person. If instructions don't come with pictures I just wing it. Thank you for giving me "pictures".
Hello James from Dallas Texas hi listening to y'all talk about old money new money oh Christmas you know I'm an old world Christmas but I would call that old money not that I have old money but new money is Nouveau riche and they are so obvious sometimes it's ridiculous and on the other note about ribbon when it comes to ribbon I love ribbon and I have seen some of the most weird ways people add ribbon would say I'm closer to what David would do and I truly love love love love love love ribbon fabric whatever you're going to use I hate that toilet paper wrap look I don't like when they just stream down straight from the top knot tucking it in or out you just they just leave it hanging no no no no no no no no no Nanette I say in and out angles diagonals come on let's create make it really dense make it beautiful thank you David for sharing your expertise in ribbon❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Way cool. The first garland you put in with the berries was amazing. I'll have to remember that. Loved the plaid ribbon too. I think all the items should come as a kit. Just sayin'. Thank you guys for always sharing your talents. It's much appreciated.
This is so pretty. I love the deeper toned red and greens like this. And I'm saving this fir future reference for the ribbon. I always want my ribbon to look like this, but sometimes have trouble executing it. I would at those Goose shoes are not Old Money. It's actually annoying that it's become trendy, but the old money or quiet luxury aesthetic comes from the esthetic of people that have money and aren't trying to show it off. But they can afford the very best. They choose quality materials and classic elegance over flashy name brands or over the top fads. So, they're going to wear the finest silk, wool, precious metals, etc but they're going to choose timeless, elegant tailoring. Not the flashy tacky huge name branded stuff. The Goose shoes were expensive, but they weren't timeless and elegant. So, for example the old money esthetic wouldn't choose the Louis Vuitton bag with the logo everywhere. They would choose a different bag from that line or a different bag all together that was handmade leather.
Thank you for taking time to explain the Goose shoes trend to us. They were definitely not timeless or classy. Still amazed that they sold for those prices and looked dirty. 😬 Thanks for watching! ❤️
Sooooooo gorgeous! I'd have stopped at the berry balls, but...WOW!!! That wreath belongs in a Ralph Lauren ad: classy, classic, understated, elegant. Jumpsuit Jen and Decorator Dave, y'all should have a TV show! Lisa, at Ivy Lane Interiors, just posted a RU-vid video where she restored a Jacobean-style chest. That wreath needs to hang over that chest, such a perfect match! Thank you for this video. Love and blessings!!
Just happened upon your channel and I'm glad I did. That is a gorgeous wreath and the bow is so beautiful looking. Where can I find your bow making tutorial? Thank you for sharing 💜
Just like I was talking about earlier about ribbon packaging the same thing with pics it's hard to find pics that have lengths to them that spray out that have wired branches and wireless and wired in the pedals so I would even love a box full of something like that if you could figure out a way that it would be good pricing of course I'm retired I used to buy wholesale now I don't but I still play and do things so I buy retail we had one time Garden Ridge that was unbelievably fantastic now we have at home which I don't like at all❤
Beautiful wreath! I wish you would have shown all the steps of putting in that first garland in the wreath. I never know how to work with a long stem like that.
We design and develop all of our ribbon. This one isn’t in stock, yet. But we have a lot of ribbon in a variety of price ranges. You definitely get what you pay for in the ribbon world. 😊🎄
We have talked about doing this in the past. Usually, most people know what to do or will reach out and we give them guided instructions over the phone or by email depending on what they purchased. ❤️ Thanks for the suggestion. We may want to revisit it.
They are currently out of stock online, but we have this one in stock: shopdavidchristophers.com/products/magnolia-leaf-branch-39-inch?_pos=13&_sid=323e8fdf6&_ss=r
David and Jen I have an idea that you might be able to do you know y'all put little packages together of say the Woodland look or the Old Saint Nick look and you ship them well it seems when I order from different companies ribbon I don't always get satisfactory because one ribbon might have great wire the next one might have wimpy spaghetti wire I would love for y'all to do ribbon with strong wiring in 4 inch 3 inch 2 1/2 inch 1 1/2 inch whatever you think that would coordinate well with each other I'm kind of crazy I like all colors and I like different textures I don't know if you could do that or how you would do it but then I could possibly you would know I'd want strong wiring so therefore you would know if I ordered a package it would be ribbon of strong wiring think about it if you will if you understand what I'm trying to say James from Dallas Texas always thinking❤
