Love needle and thread. I use to make my Barbie clothes when I was little. Both my grandmother’s were amazing cooks, bakers and all things thread and yarn. My only wish was that I would have learned more from them. It does come naturally to me but really never learned. But I can sew most things like holes. Now I’m learning embroidery and cross stitch. I think cross stitch is so much fun but my brain gets scrambled where and how to start and following the lines. I also have tried crochet but my hands and arms are not in the best shape for that. Thanks for sharing your awesome work.

Sew cute! I was resisting buying that chart but now need it! Carrots are adorable. I have a sewing machine (and I know how to use it 🤣) but your method of hand sewing is nicer because sometimes when you turn the piece right side out, it gets wrinkled. I’m going to try your way. Thank you.

Nichol I have a suggestion for you to try. When you use DMC to sew the pillow, cut a long piece of thread but only use half. Leave the other half of thread to begin going in opposite direction on pillow. I find this easier.

Nichol, this was so much fun! Thanks for the video -- the "grommet" (mini grommet/eyelet) was so fun! and making a tag was genius!! I've ordered quite a few of the spools and am thrilled to be able order more every month! Oh, question, your back stitch outline, that was one thread as well, yes?
