I agree. We had a family business in RE where we owned and managed over 1000 apt. When the market turn in 2007 it took 5 more years before in fighting hating, thievery and manipulation destroyed not on the relationship but the business. It only took a few bad seeds and poor leadership into the wrong individuals.

I really think that it is messed-up, that a man adoring his father, is THAT unheard of. I love my father like nobody else in my family! AND, I can honestly say the same thing for the guys that I grew-up with. In-fact, I cannot think of one person, that I knew from my childhood, that I spent my entire life around, that does not have a similar relationship with their Dads. What's up with that? I want to know. Why is it so strange, for a man to love his father, the way that he does? This is the most normal thing, to me and mine. I wasn't raised in a vacuum, and I have been to more places than the average child might have been, while growing-up, and this is my normal. And I agree, that is a blessing. My dad is one of my best friends. Not while I was a child, because he was the primary disciplinarian, and teacher. Not until I was in my twenties, did we start to cultivate an actual friendship, with similar interests and blah, bah, blah. But, again, that's what other people in my life were doing, as well. Anyway... it's sad if anyone is missing a relationship with their fathers. Passing on life experiences, allowing you to learn from their mistakes, general knowledge for dealing with life... all of the stuff that you KNOW that you will not learn in any school system. Dads are the best thing out there!

That's why Banking is a business. It's not a community relationship based upon friendship. Banks would go broke with a quickness, if that were the case. And one person... even a family of people NOT using a bank, of any kind, will not have a negative effect on a bank's bottom line. See, this is the issue with over-population. Everything is deeply connected to the other, in one way shape or form. Top-quality customer service, went out the door, the moment that big business started tracking population reports. They can say, to you, "Fuck-off, Good Sir, we no-longer require your money at our establishment", and there is not ONE thing that you can do about it. Nothing. Over-Population has done this, and now it is exactly why we are referred to as an "Capitalist Society". Every aspect of our lives, is effected by Capitalism. That being stated, if you go out and learn how to play the game, you can use it toward your own advantage, and become whomever you want! These Gentlemen, above, have proven that. Small circles of financially independent families and partners, can run their own lives, without having to rely on big business slavery.

Sorry samantha but thats what a naive person would say, The problem with "not judging a book by its cover" is that it sounds woke and noble, but smart people know that 9 out of 10 times judging a book by its cover statistically works in your favor. This dude is what's called a "general outlier" aka not the norm. Yes Hearing a story like his inspires and makes you mad at the same time because what the banks did to this dude wasn't fair, but being fair and naive loses a company money, yes in this case they lost a good customer and you think they would be kicking themselves in the ass, but they just chalk it up as the cost of doing business, because for every 1 person they are wrong about the other 10 they are right about. A "Requirement"? Required for whom? Most people of that demographic can't afford a car payment, car insurance and gasoline, medical insurance, mortgage/rent, utilities, groceries, clothing, home phone, cell phone, cable, basic entertainment, credit cards, build a savings (Those are only most of the things that I have to pay for every month, and then some, that I just did not include), unexpected crisis' that may cost a minimum of $2500-4000, depending on it's nature. So, with all of that, and all of that is what the average American shells-out each month with one other exception.... Life Insurance Policies, for certain family elders. So, please, tell me how people of a much lower field of income, can handle that financial load, AND then be REQUIRED to pay for a really decent life insurance policy, over the course of god-knows how many years, in order for it to actually pay-off? Keeping in mind, that in order for there to be a "Pay Off", someone in the family (Or not, in some cases) has to DIE! Yeah, Grandma is getting up there in years, and so is Grandpa, but people have a way of pulling through, and with today's medical technological break-throughs, there really is no telling how long someone would have to pay into a policy, before it actually becomes effective, as a one-time source of income. AND, let me go ahead and throw this out there, as well... People, who have struggled, financially, their entire lives, or just even for the majority of their lives, have ZERO idea of how to PROPERLY manage a large influx of money. A substantial financial cash infusion, will mentally cripple someone like that, short-term, but JUST long enough for them to run through it, showing that shit to their friends, trying to be "The Guy" in the room with the money, or just doing all sorts of ridiculous shit, and YOU know that this is true! I see this shit happening, out there, and the next thing you know.... Brokes-Ville! Nothing left, but they had a really good month (If that), and nobody remembers that ONE TIME that "Cash-Infused-Whomever", bought a round for the house, because they all knew, from the start, that that guy didn't know how to handle and properly manage large sums of cash. More often than not, THIS is what will happen. Now, you've paid into a policy for X amount of years, a family member is gone, and you have $12K left, dirty-five days after the policy pay-out date. So, REQUIRING someone to carry a policy? Yeah.... I can see that working-out real well, for whomever has to carry the financial burden, of that policy. Oh... You meant for others to SHARE the cost? My bad! Good luck with someone keeping-up their end of that financial obligation. Most people start-out with good intentions.... The rest of this sentence writes it's self!
