I created the USB-C disk, but all I see is the App installer on the disk. Will the disk actually be bootable? I have a wiped intel iMac 2019 ready to install Sequoia on, but I need it to be able to boot from the USB-C disk before installing on the iMac (no existing macOS is installed on the Mac right now)
This is great. Unfortunately, I can’t use Sequoia on my old MacBook Pro , but I just learned that you can just drag disk to terminal and it does all the typing for you. Who knew? I think I will go ahead and make a back up usb installer for the most advanced OS I can run ( Big Sur) just in case I ever need to start over. Thanks!
i needed this. Need to update !ac before Sequoia considering fresh install instead of OS upgrade from Ventura. Apps also. Should I do this usb or what?
Does anyone have good instructions for how to create a macos USB installer from Linux or Windows? I read the iso is in the package contents, but I wasn't sure how to unpack that on Linux/Windows? After you get the iso extracted that's easy to write
