I wish I had seen this a few weeks ago. I had a shag very much like this in 2017, but its grown out and been cut several times since then. I asked for a shag haircut the other day, and... it's a shag, but its not like THIS shag. Oh well, I'll just have to grow it out and ask for this next time. Yes... you have catered to my specific rock and roll needs perfectly! I use that, hair cement this is called, and my hair is so thick and flat, i love putting powder on the top roots, wanted razor cut out edgy... and i love how you didn't put it in a pony on top - id3much rather do it this way!! (Pulling overextending forward and to the top... i got you!!) And yes... that's right.. did 1500 hrs (not enough in my state... but I AM a rockstar and awesome! And let it grow long so 8 need to take advantage of this stage i figured- now as far as what's trending- i swear everyone copies my scorpio sun, Aquarius rising crazy stylees! I have no friends lol, a recluse.. and I AM trending (?) Thank you!!! Yeah i might pull the very top straight up to lighten and shorten layers even more for my powder preference.. but yes, 2nd day bed head roughed up- not shiney- y'all are reading my mind!!

That is how I used to wear my hair along with it being layered and feathered I'm a stuck in the 70's girl I just cannot find ONE STYLIST in my area that even come close to a shag or feather cut! I have super fine hair and the shag/feathered cut gave me.so much volume! Now I just look like a stringy mess!

Male here, I was blessed with thick hair from both parents. but got my hair type shag from my dad thank God. Right now I have long layered shaggy hair lose to shoulder length. I wanna cut it like julian Casablanca. he's a musician and lead singer front the Band The Strokes. He does have a big forehead that he covers with his bangs. And the only hairstyle I like from him is his 2003 era which was short messy hair. Any help?

Love this style, I have basically had this hair my whole life, with a long V in the back ofcourse, I have slightly wavy hair. But what happend when I turned 40 was that every youg hairdresser wantd me to have a BOB, OMG made me feel so corporate and thats so not me. I came home crying looking too prissy and prim and I hated every second of it. So I would not get hair cuts for years, cause I had to make friends with this shit hairstyle, and looked for people who would NOT cut a mumsy bob on me. I found an amazing Bulgarian lady who finally saw me and we made some epic shags. Then she moved. And to make it worse, everyone wanted to flatiron my hair, which is soemthing I never ever do......what happend when I came home was long uneven pieces and I looked like someone butchered my hair. shorter on one side and very uneven in the back. I have co licks all over and honest shags are the best for that, the messier the better as you work with the cowlicks and just let the hair be. So Then 2 years ago my waist long hair fell out....came back, but its stringy and unfun. And what does this tupid hair dresser do? she cuts me a BOB with a full on bang, that amde me look like Edna in Fantastic 4. After my shower, becasue my hair is so fin, I looked like I only have hair on one side, the other flat and boring and glued to my head. I cant use products nor do I want to, my heair breaks off. So now its a long lob....ugh, well beats a short bob.... and I am gonna get my shag going.....this is me..I am a rocker chick, I might not have the puddle hair we did in the 80s , but my small waves need to be free from the restictions of BOBS . My arms cant do this, health issues are areal thing, but my arms can and will be creating ponies...2 one for the front and one for the back...and if it all goes to shit.its fine.....shags are meant to go to shit :D especially if you have a little wave
