Just 1 minute 45 seconds through the video, I got it figured. Meanwhile I spent almost 30mins watching other videos and trying other methods and couldn't get it right. Surprised this video is 10 years old. Soo simple and straightforward. Thank you very much.
Hi! I'm one of those you have never used the Multilevel List button in MS Word. I just normally do it the manual way. Now my work requires me to make use of the Multilevel List function in Word and went to RU-vid to seek help. Great that you have this tutorial here! Very helpful! Thanks so much!
Excellent advice, slow and concise. i spent about 20 mins going around and around word before looking for help and got it instantly. Dissertation stress saved.. Thanks.
The more you learn the more you realize how little you know. Been at the back of my mind for decades and now I know. I will put this link on my howto for others to enjoy. Thank you.
After such maddening tinkering with the Multilevel List, your simple solution was a welcome relief. Like eating a lollipop with a broken stick --- short & sweet! Thanks!
I'm working on my bucketlist, after 32 years I decided to get a college degree. Technolgy has changed since I been in school. You can't imagine how much your video help me. I was totally lost with nowhere to get help. My son told me not to worry, go to RU-vid or Google it. Thank you, I subscribed, and thumbs up but have to get back to completing assignments.
Greetings from Down Under....what a fantastic comment.....i wish you every success with your studies....let me know if i can ever be of further assistance
Thank you! I appreciate that you started the tutorial with text on the page. I have trying to figure out how to style what I already have into an outline; unfortunately, all the instructions I ran across were how to begin a document in outline form. Very frustrating! Your explanation makes it very simple.
Wow amazing! This was good and useful. I always have this problem when it comes to numbering my assignment or report. I've tried it just now and it works! Thanks sir!
spent ages and countless website visits on this topic, 2 minutes in and I've done exactly what I needed it to. Thanks for the easy and precise demo. you earned a sub
Good on you Andrew. Glad to help and thanks for the sub. Feel free to visit my website at unitedcomputerconsultants.com where there are free Word and Excel tests with audio answers.
Thank you so much! I was struggling with this while taking notes for my business class. You probably saved me at least 30 minutes haha. Glad I found your video!
This helped me a lot. I'm a Computer Technician by day and I get tons of questions from students who need help and I usually have to help them with their outlines for different classes. Usually I do it the hard way of manually going in, hitting "Enter", then backspacing the bullet out and then clicking and formatting the bullet again to what they want. I got tired of doing it the hard way and decided to finally learn the easier way of doing it and this video helped a lot! So simple. Never fully understood that button before and how to do the multi-level list. Thanks!
Thanks, goes to show even a red coat might have a socially redeeming value. ;-) But serious, spent a 1/2 at work trying to figure this out for a report for my bosses before finding this simple video. Thanks again.
Thanks a lot this was very helpful for an assignment I am working on I was like I cannot get this to work and bam! Check you tube and here it was as simple as ABC.
No problem...click after an entry...press enter....this will add a bullet point...then simply click backspace to remove the bullet point, but leave an extra space.
@@unitedcomputers great, thank you! It would have been good if Microsoft Word had a setting to make this automatic. But at least there's a manual way I suppose.
