Demonstrates how to change the characters used as the numbering or bullets, as well as the font style, and the indentations of different levels of the outline list.
Exactly, the title is completely misleading. If anyone finds a guide to actually just redefine an existing multilevel list please post here, no idea why this is so hard to find :)
Now, how to take this definition to make it one of the standard choices, so that it can be used in a different document. The list choices have some predefined forms, but how can I add my own to be one of the choices. I use this multi-level feature for making outlines. I have my own selection of identifiers (e.g. A. 1., a., 1) ...) And, I want them right indexed, not left (the default). I can specify my indent, and align values. I make those changes for alal levels (usually need six). This definition is fine for the present document. But, tomorrow, I return for new document, and my work in making the new list from yesterday is not part of the standard list. How can I make my definitions part of the standard choice, or transfer to a new document?
Why are so many videos just narrating while clicking on obvious buttons. What users want to know is How to Modify an EXISTING Multilevel List ? Not defining a new one... how to MODIFY an EXISTING list style?
