Great Dani, here are my questions as you are the best in VBA. Company A has multiple real estate buildings in 2 different cities City 1- zip code 1-building 1 - Units (20 apartments) City 1- zip code 2-building 2 - Units (10 apartments and 10 stores) City 2- zip code A-building A1 - Units (60 apartments) City 2- zip code B-building B1 - Units (100 apartments) My question is as follow : How to add 2 level conditions on the data validation list ? -when I select an Operation Type (lease, Termination, Hold Off) i want my DATA VALIDATION LIST to Only show VACANT UNITS for the selected building in a Leasing Transaction and LEASED UNITS for the selected building in a Termination. It is at the best (you) that we can throw these difficult questions.

Hi, I use "Video Speed Controller" extension in Chrome. That way I can speed up, slow down or quickly replay any section of the video using shortcut keys.

Hi Randy Thank you for the tutorial. Just one question. * Instead of put everything in one file, I want to use separate files : PROGRAM and DATABASE. So that, if I add/edit/change the macro in the future, it doesn't effect the database. Can you explain or have a video about linking the program and database in VBA ? Thank you sir. You are awesome.

Hi Dawn, I am really not sure as have done this 1 1/2 years ago however this house is so basic you could create it yourself using basic lines in no time at all. I hope this helps and thanks so much. Hi and thanks. It all depends on who you are building the application for. If the end-user wants to use Access then its good, otherwise Excel can work for most small and medium sized business.
hi randy eagerly waiting fo this video. is it possible for you to show how to create estimate vs actual tool with variance column. the estimate and actual should be at resource level example labor material equipment other direct cost with subtotal and grand total. data for estimate and actual comes from 2 separate workbooks. . it should be in horizontal format. 1st col estimate next col actuals 3rd col variance. thank you. you are the best.

So I have multiple properties underneath the same property name. When working under the property dashboard and I go to select the property name, how would I go about making the sheet only show one of each property name, and not repeating the same property name over and over as other options?
Hi Jake, thanks for your comment. You would want to make sure to differentiate each name so that it is unique such as adding a "-1" or "-2" to the end of the name or any other distinguishable characteristics to help you select the right property. I hope this helps and thanks so much.
@@ExcelForFreelancers So assuming I created a building tab and had multiple building names under the same property name, I wouldn't be able to go into the properties and buildings tab, select from property a in the dropdown, then have a dropdown for different buildings within that property a? Hi thanks for the quick response . so have been building this Rental Property Management but on Alerts section where we Build notification when I run the "ADD NEW" Macro i get an error saying that " the item with the specified name wasn't found " and when I debug it shows a yellow line on ("ExistGrp"). Plz help and thank you.
Hi and thanks very much that means there is a group of shapes named "ExistGrp" that is missing. You may want to download the original again, display the selection pane on that sheet, and copy over the grouped shapes to your workbook then change the macros. I hope this helps.
