@@PaulMay954 Yes, all my scripts are made in pinescript version 5, so they work correctly in tradingview for the backtesting bots function. In addition, you can also create alerts to know when a certain signal appears on the chart. And you don't need to copy and paste anything, I make everything available directly to you via the share function in tradingview. I do this only based on your username in tradingview. Then you just have to click on the strategy and everything appears on your chart.

I dont count on backtesting because the AI will map the overall historical price data that has already been available to it, as oppose to real time demo testing the AI has to predict the future price movement, if it can predict price movement tick by tick correctly and assess buy or sell trade, stop loss and take profit, that is what I call a perfect AI.

@@algotradepro Afternoon. I tried creating an Algo, using your method of asking GPT questions and then copy/paste. But I had error after error. Probably close to 20 separate errors. I'd ask GPT to fix the error, would but that would create another. I don't have the algo and in fact, I gave up. Is this something you ome across a lot or is my "not" understanding? If I grab one of your Algos, I'm assuming I just copy/paste it into a test system?

@@1967Cubby Unfortunately, and perhaps due to the complexity of some algorithms, chatgpt does indeed produce many errors, but it is not impossible to resolve them. So far, I've always managed to solve them. My Backtesting Algorithms are invite-only scripts and ready to start backtesting from the first day you receive them, you don't need to do anything else. first chatGPT generated not v5 compatible code. I asked it to move functions to the namespaces according to the v5. Just ask it "pls make script v5 compatible" didn't work. After 20 minutes of fixing compilation errors, I asked it to add ATR... and it broke all migrations to v5 that we did again... when I ask it fix something, it immediately forgets that "floor" belongs to the "math" namespace and "crossower/crossunder" to the "ta" namespace. How did you forced it to generate something useful? Like endless loop: broken namespaces => fixed namespaces => validation errors => pls fix this validation error => brake the same namespaces again I cannot even count how many times the "The 'input' function does not have an argument with the name 'type'" was fixed

No, it's super simple: I just click on the asset I want to test and in 1 second it analyzes all the trades, places them with the stop loss and take profit levels on the chart and gives me all the statistical results in the overview tab.
