Great instruction. 160wifi is much easier to setup. It turns your laptop into hotspot, then your mobile could connect wifi.

The laptop which i'm using to create the wifi hotspot. Does it need to be plugin to a router or modern in order for this to work or does it work over wifi connections?

hey thanks for the help. I CAN HELP THE IPOD OR IPHONE users, when u enter the password a message appears indicating " UNABLE TO CONNECT ".. for this problem u have to again make ad hoc network and change the password from WPA-2 personal to WEP because ipod doesn't support WPA-2.... I figured this out on my own !!!! AND once again thnx for the video!!

Sometimes you need to enable ISIC once the connection is set up and your connected, you need to right clic the connection, clic STATUS and then go to the last tab, enable first check mark and you might be sharing internet from your PC... I´m having issues with it right now becouse of IP so, I'm searching still...

If your trying to connect your android to a pc, dont watch this videos because its impossible to connect android to an ad hoc network

This is workable. However, i'd like to recommend a wifi hotspot creator tool called OSToto Hotspot which will make this whole process automatic. Try it if needed.

dude you need to enable share ethernet connection with this newly created adhoc network or if your laptop or pc connected through wifi you need share wifi connection with this adhoc connection. press window+r type ncpa.cpl right click on connected internet network adapter and share with adhoc network adapter

hi my computer not showing Manage Wireless Network Option please help.

If I try to connect to my network on my iPod touch it shows a checkmark next to my network but it does not show bars in the status bar. I have 2 wireless adapters connected to my laptop and it is connected to LAN.

When I create this wi-fi network from laptop without any security my ipad 3 can connect, but when I put WPA2-Personal security password it cannot connect. I don't like Connectify as it slows down the laptop. Do you have any idea what could be the problem?

Just use Mypublic wifi or connnectify, its simple to use.

there is no manage wireless netwrk

just use ( OSTotoHotspot ) good program and it doesn't have to be Lan network

Hi Tony, I can see the connection on my Iphone but when I try to join it it says the PC is not connected to the internet and it asks me if I would like to join anyway. If I click on it it asks me for the password and when I insert it it says it cannot connect. what do I do wrong?
