I use two puzzle generators, but they are paid. My favorite to boot is "Instant Puzzle Generator." This software is bar none the best I have used! Easy as pie and customizable without having to do all of this. You plug in your words, and you get a formatted puzzle. You can change the size of your puzzles and font, plus a host of other things. I don't work for them or know them, but they make creating word search puzzles a breeze for me! The other one I use is "Puzzle Book Mastery." This one needs a bit more work, but it is also a powerful tool for creating word search puzzles. Plus, they have other types of puzzles you can create and make into one downloadable book. Priceless! Both software have a lifetime membership for a one-time fee.

I am currently working on a word search book now. I am using book bolt to create the puzzle pages but it is a bit of a pain that I have to go to each page and capitalize my words under each puzzle. I want complain to much since book bolt does an awesome job creating the pages. I am going to use the tool you are using to see how it goes. Thanks for all of your wonderful information.

@@KaiWenFranklin No. But once you make one puzzle page in canva you can duplicate the same page for however many puzzles you are going to have. then it is a matter of generating your puzzles one by one using the generator tool kim showed here, which i don't mind at all because canva is easier in getting things to appear exactly how you want.

I don't have Canva Pro, I have the "starter" version. I wasn't able to access any free borders so their rules might have changed (and they may no longer offer them free) since you published this video. I was trying to practice before upgrading to the Pro version. P.S. Still love all your videos. 😊😊

So helpful! Thank you. What is the difference between “show margin” and “print bleed” when creating an activity book?

The difference is that when you add "bleed" to your pages, it allows for your designs to overflow off the page. The show margins features is one in Canva that just basically shows you the margins on your document so that the text that you add to your designs stays within the lines. The biggest thing that you want to make sure of is that your dimensions are set correctly if you are using bleed vs no bleed. Best of luck!

Hello there! To my knowledge you should be good to go with using the software to generate your word search puzzles to sell. You will just need to make sure that the elements that you add to your puzzles designs are free from Canva to keep yourself in the clear. Hope this helps 😎

Great video!! Love the content and appreciate you sharing your knowledge. Quick questions... have you ever had an issue with you books being pixelated using Canva once printed through KDP? The reason I ask is recently I did a coloring book through Canva Pro... I downloaded as a PDF print and CMYK, however when I ordered the authors copy... I found it to be very pixelated. Have you ever had this issue? If so, is there a solution to this? Thanks!

Hey there! Nope Ive never had this issue. Best thing to do is make sure that the images you are using in your coloring pages are high resolution. So I try to stick to images that are at least 2500x 2500 that can be resized with no issues. Best of luck!

On your video you mention that you add a blank page after every puzzel page. Does that mean you end up with blank pages on your puzzel book? Hey there! It just means that when people write on the puzzle pages it wont bleed through the other page. It basically creates a single sided page book.

Hi great Vi But if you have a 50 page wordsearch book that would surely be 500 words. Because 10 pages would need 100 words x 5 = 500 words for one wordsearch book. seems like a lot of worsd for one book.

Thats a great question. I would definitely consider checking copyright information for certain words or slogans for example that may be trademarked and etc. For common words or phrases I wouldnt worry about them too much (like Love, Roses, etc)

You can create and alter to make your own creation, and publish that. However you don't truly have the copyright because you weren't the original designer of those elements. So are we able to copyright our "new" that we altered and made a new creation?

Hello there! You will need to ask it things like: Give me a list of 12 words related to "St Patricks Day". So for example, if it gives you the word "Shamrock", then you can ask it to give you a list of words related to "Shamrock". You will basically use it to generate a list of themes then take those themes and find words related to it. Hope this helps!

Ok, am I blind or why can't I seem to locate the Install button on this app page? I'm signed in my Microsoft account but the only button I see is Get in store app on the top right side of the page, when I click on it it takes me to a smaller window that says Privacy and Terms and the Age rating, that's it. @@YourChicGeek thank you for responding back to me and you should where is the pen let me sign up now I truly could use your expertise I'm trying to learn all the does and don't very complicated to me I'm just a creative writer I'm not computer savvy at all I'll keep trying to find someone who can help me and won't charge and arm and two legs really Oh my please send a notice when you start your boot camp ok ty I've written 12 book in a year and because my hired assistant put in vey few keywords and category research for Amazon SEO engine and now I have to try to find an expert on keywords and category alone with promotion and ads yeah not a $1.00 I've spent 1200 to get it build yicks now there are trying to crook me out of $300.00 for ads pray that I get honest people to help me please remember me when you start your boot camp okay thank you
