How to create an Augmented Reality Book Review using Reality Composer on iPad

With the free Reality Composer app for iPad and iPhone you can create your very own Augmented Reality (AR) experiences with relative ease. In this QuickTips tutorial I'll teach you how to create your own Augmented Reality Book Review in Reality Composer by using the Image Anchor technique and a pre-made Keynote template (which you can download here: drive.google.com/file/d/1EGlg...)
Imagine using this in the classroom to bring book reviews to life, to add additional content to display boards or simply to make your pupils go 'Wow!'.

It's great experience. I have one doubt. I watched reality composer videos a lot but I don't know how to add some button to interact. Is it possible to add one button on the interface so that when I tap on that button, I wanna change from one scene to another scene.

Hello Jacob! I just discovered your video and wanted to try it out with my iPhone 7. My problem is when I've done with the settings and click on AR play, it don't actually works. It doesn't even detect the image. Do you know why does it happens?

Hey! So I think that's currently a bit outside of what's possible with Reality Composer. You can use it as a plugin with Xcode to integrate these experiences within other apps - but that's far more than a sixty second tutorial!

You can use the Reality Composer app on the iPhone too, so it should be a very similar process to the video above. Let me know if you need any support!

Ah okay, I get what you mean. In that case export the image from Keynote (Export > Image > PNG) and then import the image into Reality Composer that way instead. You should get the same result.

@@iPhoneQuickTips hmm, I just tried but it just stays on top of my original image asset(can't move it backward/ behind the img asset). And now it won't recognise my image asset and align itself with it like yours did. What should I do?
