"As you already know, this is a paid plugin" No, I didn't know that. Something tells me most of us didn't know that until you told us, or until we couldn't find it in After Effects. Maybe tell people upfront the tutorial uses a paid plugin, so we don't sit here for 3 minutes following a tutorial we can't complete without paying money.

I can't seem to get this to work with the demo version of Trapcode that I have here at work. I will try again with the full version I have on my personal computer at home and report back. But as it stands, the trial version of Trapcode Particular doesn't let you do everything you need to do here...even though they say the trial is without limitations.

hey. i have a problem here and it is that my luma matte is disabled when i put the layers on 3 d mode at 2:29 . the logo appears and the luma matt column is empty. how do i fix that !

Just a suggestion, EZ...if one of your videos requires a plugin, put a link to the website in the video notes. A price would be useful as well.

Thank you for your suggestion! A link in the description would be good, but the price... I don't know, I think it's a little too much... 1. each time I should make a research and shh if the price has changed... 2. most of the time, the price will scare the viewer, and be leaving the video will not see at least how great it's that tool... Anyway, thanks for sharing your ideas with me... Each suggestion can help me make the things better.

you could try just taking the longer clip into premier pro and and change the speed to like 150%-200%

@@ClimbingtoFreedom, not a bad idea... a faster and easier one would be this - precompose all the final animation, right-click > > time > enable time remapping, then drag the right keyframe to the left as much as you need, until you get the desired speed

The best way to learn is by practicing in my opinion, so keep watching tutorials on each effect that you want to learn, then put all in practice and test it.

You could precompose all the layers of the animation then right click > time > time reverse layer, the result is pretty interesting... else you have to create a different animation to make the logo disappear using particles...

EZ Tutorials some of the menu items in the particular fx window were not clickable probably because it's a trial. They're locked before any modifications we're done

This is copy/paste from the Red Gian website "Did you know you can try Red Giant products? Trial installers are available to test things out on your system and, aside from time restrictions or watermarks, are fully functional!" So...I would say that the template can be done 100% with the trial version...

i have this error when i set 1000000 in particles: Very high values for particles per se should only be used for a few frames, otherwise too many particles will be generated.

That is not an error, it's a warning... to make this effect you will need a high amount of particles...

Particular is not a preset, it's a plugin... have you install it and restarted your After Effects?

The render time depends on a lot of facts... the composition itself (the effects used in the composition), the video card, the RAM memory etc... If you render something that includes 3d movement, particles the render will be slower. I recommend you upgrade the RAM memory ... 16 GB it's the minimum amount for AE to work properly .... 32 it's even better.

Yes, wait until halfway through the video to mention we need a paid plugin to even do the tutorial. Because that's not at all deceptive, annoying and a waste of people's time.
