You answered one of my biggest questions, which was - how to get the poses out of "current file". Also, how to integrate poses with the animation. Great stuff.

how to save the animation in Asset Browser (pose library) ?? , for example, "animation cycles", usually need to append action manually

Lovely tutorial... Instead of linking (which I believe will make changes to my character in my new scene) Can I append instead (since that shouldn't change anything from the source file)

Linking wouldn't necessarily change your character(best workflow). Appending your character may pose a problem especially if you are working on a project with many scenes. For more information, check out an episode of HTT titled "How to link your character for Animation in Blender"; ru-vid.comUgkx_30bqoqk6Nxx7LIBxhvrb7Sn4Ost4nal

Super! But one more point: how to add new poses to the library file? Do I need to open the original file or can I add from the current file? Thanks!)
@levonotion

A good workflow is to add new poses in the scene you'd like to reference your poses from.

hello, it's very well, but i have a question, how to use it in an another charator ? must I have the same same rig for my new charator on which i test my new pose library or ?
@levonotion
@levonotion Год назад
Same rig is important because the bone naming structure needs to be consistent.

Last time i'v used the Blender pose assets, Blender treated the pose library as independant blender files, when you import a pose it created an addionnal animation file in the action editor for each pose, making the Animation Layer addons unusable and completely bloat your scene. So no... can't use the pose assets because of that.
