You don't nessisarily need Gun Movie FX to do the effect, also it would cost way less, but still, it was decent tutorial, and very clear

Hello mate!! Nice stopmotion. I wonder how many fps did you use.. i tried to make a similar animation but the movement is not really smooth..

So I downloaded the apps, but how do I bring the copies from my Stop Motion app to the laser app and gun app?

You would have to export the animation clip from your Stop Motion app so that it is rendered into a finished video file in your camera roll. Once that is complete, you would open up your SaberMovieFX app and click “New Project”. After that, select the video file you want to work with and you’ll be able to add all your effects within the app. I hope this helps.

I would suggest rendering your effects as separate clips rather than one whole video then cut them together in an editing software afterwards.
