i’ve had a horribly unhealthy relationship with academics and school. it really consumes me, and i put my worth in my grades and what other people think of my intelligence. i’ve known that it’s wrong for a while, but it’s the only lifestyle i know. recently, ive been working to lose those chains and find my identity in Christ instead. School has made my anxiety a thousand times worse, but yesterday, i did something that usually gave me panic attacks, with absolutely no fear. the night before, i felt God calling me super strongly and i answered. I rebuked fear and anxiety and i genuinely felt no fear when i did my event. This is such an insane change for me. i’ve had severe anxiety all my life, and ive always been so afraid of everything. i can feel God clearing out my brain and transforming it into something new now, and i’m so excited.
Brother it makes me happy to no end to hear your testimony of learning how to put every desire and ambition into subjection unto God, including the one for others to admire you for your intelligence. Im a college student who's a graduate of the #1 US high school and there's nothing more tempting them to try and live life on your own terms, and by what is supposedly your own talent (being smart) but life will find many ways to show you that such a life is shallow and it's not enough to get you through the trials of this world. I'm glad you already know Jesus made him your savior and I'll continue to him, and by the Holy Spirit subject of your desires, to be loved, and adored by others on God, and to give him 100% of the glory for the blessings which he has given you to be used in his service
My girl recently left me after a 4 year relationship. I feel so lost and empty and sad. Idk where to go or what to do. The feeling is indescribable, I’m so numb and I feel like I’m gonna lose myself. I want her back but she said she needs time to heal and idk if I will get her back. God please help me and my soul. 🥺🙁
The things off this world will fade, whether that’s people money or even love. once you feel the only eternal love from Jesus Christ. you will be healed. i will pray for you brother.
I was you a year ago brother. Lowest moments of my life but God saved me through worship songs and gave my life to Jesus. Now, I moved on and been on my highest lately. Surrender and trust His plans.
I would like to ask you if you did anything to make her leave. Not to be accusatory, but in any kind of separation, it's usually both people's fault. So I would just urge you to see if you did anything wrong, try to remember if she did anything wrong, and try to make a solution out of it. 4 years is a long time man, I'm lucky mine was only 3 months, but what I found is that we both messed up and that it was never meant to be, but I'm a better person because of that experience. In short, just treat yourself like you'd treat a friend going through this. Everything's going to be alright. God bless 👍🏽

my life was crowded by distraction. Social Media, the content within, political, cultural, comparison etc etc. I had to break free from that. its a struggle, but i am able and supported by my community of Godly council. Than you for your influence and teaching of God's word. Stoked for you guys, Brah!

I’ve realized that I’ve been SO busy. I’m in my 2nd year of college and my schedule is so packed with school, work, ministry, discipleship obligations etc. & while these are all such good things, I’ve found that I’m too busy to spend time with the Lord. I recently got to go up into the mountains and my phone was dead for like 3 days and it was so refreshing getting away with Him, being present in the freedom of Christ. I realized I spend SO much time on my phone which gives me so much anxiety because I’m a constantly thinking about things I need to do, people I need to talk to, trying to keep up with society. But being up in the mountains recentered my heart to be more focused on existing as the Lords beloved creation, rather than the sum of what I can produce. So, I’m going to unhurry my life by downgrading my phone to a lite phone & saying no to more things in order to be more present with the Lord and His people. Thank you alex. May the Lord continue to bless your ministry. ❤
In a way I feel like my activities tend to distract me from spending time with God, or they simply interfere and get into my alone time with God, I want to work on it so please pray for me. I Love you all!
I spend too much time watching youtube and listening to podcasts. I need to spend more time reading the Bible, talking to people about faith, building up relationships and getting closer to Jesus.
Chris pray to Jesus and ask him to heal your heart and to bind up your wounds brother!! He will ease the tension that you are feeling! People come into our lives, some stay and some go I feel for you brother! Ask the lord in prayer to put the write people in your life ! And the lord will put the ones that will love into your life. This is almost exactly what I was thinking. Only to add: You may feel alone, but Jesus promises you are not alone. Keep your heart AND Bible open, and read Mark 3: 31-35 about the 'true family of Jesus.' And while in the Bible, also read some of the Psalms and Deuteronomy 31: 6. May God bless you and keep you.
Such a cool time this video came out. I'm in a huge "un-crowding" time in my life. God has removed some old hobbies and groups from my life. Having too much stuff weighs me down and I get materialistic. I have been meditating on 1 Thessalonians 4 and living a quiet life. Instead of 5 hobbies all biding for time, just have one and be great and honor God with it. Instead for 15 different Bible studies and reading plans, get really into one and honor God with it. Manage finances well, drive safely. Let all of your actions be a reflection of the Holy Spirit in you.
Amen! Working on getting over someone I had romantic feelings for while a ton of other drama is unfolding with friends in my life group, just pretty overwhelming some days but slowing down and removing myself from those situations to talk to God and refresh myself to learn how to best serve with those situations is such an important reminder that I needed to hear
I was deeply rooted in a ministry until about 6 months ago when I completely removed myself. It was pretty difficult, but I learned some interesting things about the struggles that many people might face during the Christian walk. Up until this past Sunday, I was utterly consumed by ambition. My desire to learn, work, and create surpassed my desire to tolerate people completely. Why am I saying this? There's a two-part dance with a step in-between. I moved away from the crowd, but I filled the space with something other than God. This negatively affected my relationships and hardened my heart. So, I had to draw back from the crowded space that I had created in my own environment. Token word to breakdown - The world. People can create little pockets of the world, or they can seek the kingdom of God.
My life has become crowded with thoughts of concerns and worries with things I have need of. But God, has reminded me that if I put Him first, all the ‘things’ will follow. May the Lord forgive me for this sin. Thank You Jesus for this encouragement ✝️☝🏻🙌🏻🙏🏻
I set boundaries of me trying to separate myself from the world. Then people I’m close to or I’ve connected my life with try reasoning with me as to why those things are okay. I stay firm to my choice and they eventually apologize and see I’m trying to have a closer relationship with god.
My thoughts very much want to crowd out my life. They want to cloud up my mind and take away my peace. The way I have found that God is uncrowding my life is by fixing my focus on Him. No matter what I am doing I notice that when my thoughts are crowding around me, its because my eyes are not on Him. I have had a increased awareness of this and so I am praying and asking God to change my focus to be on Him in every circumstance.
Hmmm, I'm not sure I'd call it "uncrowding", but there is something God has done for me today. I was worried about asking my employer a couple of questions and then later asking something else at some other place. I was worried I'd get fired or something. However, when it came time to it, I calmly asked the questions that were on my mind and contrary to my expectations, I didn't receive one negative answer. My questions were answered calmly and politely, the exact same way as I asked them.
God has been telling me to put my phone down more. My life has felt crowded with my overuse of my phone. I also feel like I let people into my life & into my schedule too easily. And it puts a burden on to my heart..
I was soo focused and invested in a lot of other stuff especially soccer , I was really really invested in a sense of addiction in it , and I always felt like I was in the wrong space, always feeling guilty cause I could see that the environment I was in was not of God , I was seeing a lot of things in the football world that God is against and I have being fighting this sort of addiction spiritual battle for over a year , I would quit then invest in God and when it's all well ,I fall back to the Lust of my flesh, I currently was going through the worst period of it but seeing how I had always failed to keep up when God had made everything okay ,I finally understood that I couldn't do it on my own and chose to place my faith in his hands not mine and yesterday he came for me when I least expected it and I feel soo free right now but instead of being afraid that I will fail like before I'm choosing to place my trust in God and believe it will all be okay❤
I have a friendship with this one girl, and she’s always venting to me about this one person she’s unhealthily obsessed with and it’s been waring me down. First i don’t know how to set healthy boundaries in that without shutting her out. And second I don’t know how to explain to her that the obsession has gotten out of hand.
To answer your question: I feel that God has brought me through a season of self doubt to provide a firm foundation of trust in him and reliance on his strength.

God is teaching me how to prosper through the labor of my hands. Im an athlete and dedicated and still dedicate my time to develop myself as a martial artist. But for now this is not paying my bills and i discovered that doing work that gives me actual money alleviated a ton of mental, psychological and even physical pressure. I was reading the Bible when God spoke to me and he said "I will teach you what you have to know, go to the streets and i will teach you". Its powerful, and i praise the Lord for his wisdom and pray to not fall in whatever thing may be, because i have fear, in a good way i mean. He gives me a lot in my life, so i know that as a Son i have to do my best to represent Him, for his Light shine on me to be freedom, salvation for the people that sees me and talk to me. I also use medical marijuana, that is not medical because i live in Brazil, annd this is a point of affliction, but it alleviates me. Im human too. Love you bro.
My life was crowded by my job which was demanding and then the industry I worked in was focused on all the things of the world: looks, beauty, appearance. Thankfully God has shown me my worth isn’t in my title or how I look but in being His child!
This past school year, I have been crowded by people and my thoughts. The Lord has shown me that I need to create space from other people so that I can create space for Him. Now, I’m struggling with my thoughts. When I go to pray, my mind is filled with other things that when I try to focus and pray I forget what I was going to pray about. The Lord has shown me that I need to declutter my mind and give all my thoughts to Him so that His will can be done. Thank you for this message ^u^
