I used to do this in primary school, I’ll definitely try again but yeah I’m nervous because the last time I did was with those round brushes where the bristles go all around and my hair got stuck to the point I had to cut some cause it got all tangled so I’ll use another brush😂
guys I’m actually sobbing idk if it’s because I don’t have curl cream or anything but when I get out the shower I have waves and loose ringlets at the bottom of my hair, i scrunch it and plop it for like 20 minutes and when I take it out the towel it’s really wavy with a few loose ringlets throughout it but usually on my fringe- anyways I use a hair strengthener and spray it with water but when I use the brush and try to follow the tutorial it just brushes out the ringlets and I’m left with pretty much straight hair with waves at the bottom like I don’t get it why is everyone else who looks to have my hair type able to use this brush and their hair looks great but mine just doesn’t 😭😭😭😭
You need to add, curl leave-in cream first all over the hair and then add gel-cream all over the hear and then use this technique… I saw this on many videos. Hope it helps…
i have loose waves as well, like 2b-2c and the very top layer is 2a because of bleach and heat damage- for me, this technique also breaks my clumps and leaves my hair a frizzy mess. i would try this: while still in the shower, get your hair dripping, SOAKED wet with your head slightly tilted back. then, don’t squeeze out any water and gently smooth a ton of leave-in conditioner down the hair, even put a lil on top for frizz control. grab some more leave in and spread it on your palms. then, gently gently, try to keep the hair clumped together with your head slightly tilted back and cup it in your hands, bringing it slowly all the way up to the head and then squeeze. optionally do this SLOWLY once more, but with a thin layer of gel (i even mix my gel with some leave-in sometimes to avoid over-applying). gently slowly GENTLY scrunch a couple more times in the shower, then step out and scrunch SLOWLY and gently with a cotton tshirt or microfiber towel. don’t scrunch from too many angles or turn your head upside down yet, just try to squeeze out enough water to stop dripping all over the floor and try your best to avoid moving the hair or separating individual clumps/pieces. as your hair air dries, avoid touching it. you can SLOWLY scrunch 3-4 more times if it’s still really wet/annoying but otherwise leave it. at about %50 dry, slowly rotate your head upside down and gently scrunch 2-3 times before equally slowly sitting up again. then let it air dry!! this is my best advice as a fellow wavy/curly person who struggles w maintaining clumped hair. also, as a beginner who struggles w curl definition i’d prolly caution-don’t even fw a diffuser until you’ve tried out air drying lol
@@fork9666 that's great, update us if trying some of that works!! curly/wavy hair is such a process to figure out, it took me like 4 years to get my routine right and even then it doesn't always go well lol-- but you'll get into a somewhat reliable routine eventually!! good luckkkkk
nah i need to see the step between the curl when it’s wet and when it’s dry… cuz u cannot just dry the ringlets as is or you look like shirley temple.. how do you separate the clumps without totally killing the curl???
technically you could, i don't know that it would turn out exactly the way you want it though i just started fixing my hair, I believe it's the hair type - tighter curls are more rows and looser curls/waves are less rows (maybe? someone correct me if I'm wrong please)
