This is an updated version of the video I did a year ago. MUCH easier. Hope it works for you! www.mediafire.... www.mediafire.... www.mediafire.... NOTE: THE WALLPAPER MUST BE IN .PNG FORMAT OR IT WON'T WORK.
I just built them on a PC and transferred some back to the Mac and it works great, thank you! By this time, every Mac owner should have an auxiliary PC. A Mac with a PC can serve an an awesome host for Kontakt or run VEP 7
Thanks dude, just helped me heaps. I had a library installed about 70GB, I just forgot the add library step lol.. It already had a ncint luckily, thanks!
Everything went smooth. One thing I noticed though is that when you download the wallpapers, some have the instrument name like 'aquamarine complete.png' - That needs to be changed to 'wallpaper.png' once it's copied into the folder. If not, the wallpaper will not show up. I noticed that one of your options when you were deciding which one you wanted was already named 'wallpaper.png', but if you'll notice... the other option was the instrument name. I did test this, and yes... it must be named wallpaper.png or it won't work. Thanks for the awesome video.
@@DizzyJerk Can I ask if you get graphical issues with the .exe? I use windows 11 pro and tried opening it in compatible modes, but still half the window is missing and cannot see everything?
Strange, but I've never managed to register any library with this method, though I see how other people do it. Even after having generated the file and cut-pasting it into the library folder my Kontakt 6 can't see the nicnt file at all.
Thank you for this. When I have the generator check it does nothing and shows 0 processed files and 0 found. I believe it does not know where it should look . Is this because I am on MacOS and this is a windows app? I open this app with the Wine program by the way. Please offer any guidance if you know that Mac users can use this or if there is a Mac version I can download. Thank you.
Yes - At 9:35 he says this is for PC only and Mac users are on their own. Not to be an ass or anything, but he explicitly said 'Don't put your ignorance on a flagpole and leave a comment saying 'will this work for Mac?'. Sorry bud, I guess you didn't watch the whole video. But anyway, good luck.
I already have the NICNT file but somehow Kontakt 7 sends an error called " the instrument belongs to a library that is currently not installed windows"
Unfortunately, this does not work in older versions of Kontakt. I also found it funny that you referred to your version as old when Kontakt 7 is their most current version. This process used to work in Kontakt 5.x but then they changed it so that the ONLY way to add a library is via Native Access. That said, your video was clearly done. Too bad, I can't use it. I have heard too many issues with Kontakt 7 to justify updating.
Great info, however after signing up and login into that forum, any image that I click on within the forum, gives an error message saying that I do not have permission to access/view the page.
Hmm. Was your info stored? Because I don’t have that problem when I log in. Try it again by typing everything in and make sure “autofill” is on in your browser, close out, then login again.
Just tried again, both on my mobile browser and PC, but still the same issue persists. I'll figure it out somehow. Thanks for the response nonetheless.
I don't understand. All this talk about native access, komplete. What is the point of kontakt? Why not just make these libraries like just actual plugins. Really what is the point of that? I've spent years trying to figure out how to add libraries into kontakt and have never gotten it to work. And wonder why I never mess with it. When I try to add a library it shows a sock drawer of thumbnails all mixed up. No sounds.
I think they changed since you made this video. In my version, it no longer says "Add Library" when you go to the Libraries tab. In place of that button it says "Launch Native Access". At least I can access my VST in the new browser... Sigh.
@@DizzyJerk not quite, but thank you anyway. It did seem to install the libraries, as in I no longer need them listed in my Custom Libraries and I can see them in the new 'Library View' , but they still don't show in the 'Rack View' like I'm used to using. I appreciate it, though!
I DON'T KNOW WHY IT IS NOT WORKING IN MAC. THE LIBRARY WAS CREATED IN WINDOWS AND WAS LOADED INTO KONTAKT 7. BUT THE SAME LIBRARY IS NOT LOADING IN KONTAKT 7 IN MAC.
Register the serial number and install the software Click Add a Serial and enter your product's serial number. Then, click Add Serial at the bottom right. Find your product in the Not Installed area of Native Access and click Install. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7RNQXmqxv7w.html
@@DizzyJerk If you had a serial number then you would not need this process. This process is to add libraries that are not NI registered libraries. You used to be able to do this years ago, Then NI removed the ability by forcing you to enter a serial number. Apparently, with Kontakt 7 you can do this again. I added a huge number of libraries years ago with this method and then all that work was for not with their next release. NI could restrict this again and all that work will then be wasted.
