step one: have perfect, long, thick hair.

To everyone asking: I’ve been doing the same curling techniques that she does for years and I use the following: - Hot tools (sold at Ulta) curling iron with barrel size 1 1/4 inches On heat setting 400 My curls last me at least 3 days.

I feel she’s the only person who can get away with saying “my signature curls” because her hair is ICONIC

As soon as Gisou was launched, I just knew hair tools were in the works, and that she would never post a hair tutorial before this becomes reality, out of fear of having an old video up with some other brand's curling wand. Negin is a business woman first and foremost, with a strategy and long term planning, not just a vlogger who turned into a business woman.

Negin disregard the nasty and horrible comments. Whether people have been doing the same routine for years, it’s always good for others who haven’t. Also, I LOVE that you’re promoting YOUR new curling iron. If others can afford it, it doesn’t justify them being salty. You do you and if others don’t like it, then that’s them, not you. I don’t understand what’s the big deal that she posted this when her curling iron is almost finished, I mean, it makes total sense. I used to like Negin 6-7 years ago when she wasn’t entirely consumed by this constant need to capitalise on her fan base but now it’s like everything she does, every product, every video, it’s a move based on how much money she can extract from her followers just like this hair routine that was in demand for years and up until she figured out a way with her team to capitalise to the maximum on her hair routine, only then she released it & it’s extremely disappointing because it’s the most avg/standard routine that every other girl who owns a curling iron knows about but of course everyone has to be fooled into knowing that her curling iron that she will launch can only give these curls to your (the viewers) hair and no other product. Ironic because for the last 6 years she’s probably been using a standard company iron like the rest of us but she couldn’t be decent and sincere to her followers.

I really love Negin and all that but she does the curls since years and a year ago she didn’t have her own „curler“ !! What brand did she use before??? Because I really don’t want to pay $100+ for a „normal“ curler.

i noticed a lot of comments on how she only uses + advertises her own products and thought it was worth responding to. of course she's going to do that; it'd be weird for her to create an entire hair care line and not even use it. people would also be questioning the fact that she doesn't use her own products and it wouldn't be a great business move either. she made the line for a reason and by showing it in her videos, it's a great way to display the versatility of the products. which leads me to my next point, she's educated, not like other typical influencers who hire others to grow brands for them and have zero involvement in their own company. Negin is there for her company every step of the way to ensure her time and efforts are well spent. so of course someone who has put all their sweat into growing a company from ground up is gonna do everything they can to keep the company growing. i've followed her since i was 16/17, im now 21, and i've learned a lot about what she does along the way and it's only made me want to support her more. her products are ethically made and she takes criticism seriously when releasing new ones. for example, she preaches about how important it is to protect bees, as well as the environment and her family's bee garden, where the company gets its honey from, provides a humane environment for bees to thrive. additionally, the brand is progressively becoming more sustainable and we see this through their packaging (i.e. the curling wand case which is made entirely out of paper pulp). i can't fit everything into a youtube comment but all i can say is, do your research on her as well as her company and you'll see what i mean. gisou has been really good about being transparent and their instagram is super responsive. in my opinion, it's worth the money i've saved up and spent on gisou over the years especially because negin & maurits invest a lot of the money they make from it back into the company itself to better it (she mentions this in one of her business q&a videos).

If you’re working on a curling iron for a few years and everyone’s asking you for a tutorial on your hair you’re going to wait until your curler is finished so you can use it and get others interested in using it. It’s just common sense and smart business. Don’t have a cow over a woman trying to build her business. This isn’t Jaclyn Hill. She’s clearly very passionate about her hair. First of all, I want to thank you for uploading this tutorial 😘 but, to be perfectly honest with you, I found it quite “normal”, because the truth is that your hair is just PERFECT, and trust me, I’ve really healthy and beautiful blonde hair, but if I curl mine, when I finish curl the last piece of hair, the back is already flat -.- haha

Very nice!! Thank you. Ive got natural ringlet curls, the biggest key is to NOT COMB OR BRUSH the hair, shampoo condition, add pat on blackseed oil then LET AIR DRY. The less you touch curly hair the better. The more you touch it the more frizzy it gets. No blow dry, don't even diffuse it. AIR DRY this is only if you have some natural curl.

I think Negin has a lovely personality. Yes she is a businesswoman, yes she promotes her own products. But I really wonder if people would be so full of criticism if it was a male celebrity promoting his products and partnerships. Never heard of people "complaining" about David Beckham or George Clooney. But come along a successful woman, many people jump on the hate train. Think about it.
