Hey everybody, thanks for joining in!
For a couple of days I've been really interested in creating those colorful liquid bubbles in Photoshop that are trading over the internet now but I didn't find any tutorial on how to make something like this so after experimenting by myself I came up with this. For a more realistic approach we use the power of Bevel & Emboss. The key is to play around with the values until you get something you are satisfied with.

Perfect tutorial. One hint - after you've erased the central part of a bubble you can once again create a smaller (contracted, approximately the size of the erased part) bubble above, give it a RAINBOW color pattern overlay (rainbow gradient), then LIQUIFY this rainbow (create rainbow swirls) and put it above the original bubble (with erased center) - either with Overlay opacity mode or simply 20% normal mode - this will give you that realistic rainbow stains which can often be seen on real soap bubbles.

@@aksndrv No bro, your voice is really OK, but your mic picks very high frequencies, which is annoying. i can hear all the voices from your mouse. Use a high-cut EQ or get a bit away from your mic. Cause in the long term that will be frustrating fo the audience. i hope you don't find this offensive. Best of luck

bubbles change their form when u rotate because u are using filters on smart object which means this filters can be changed. U should just make layer smart object again so filters wont affect ur bubble form

Have you followed the exact steps I made? Maybe you forgot to turn off the fill and stroke effect of the shape?

Really good tutorial. Thanks! One question though: After I make the layer a smart object, if I add a gradient to change the colour I lose the bevel and emboss effect we did at the start of the tutorial. Any idea why this happens?

The liquify option doesn't shows in my photoshop, does anyone knows why?

On Adobe website it says 'Some Photoshop features have special system requirements. For example, Liquify and Oil Paint require your computer to have a compatible graphics processor (GPU) installed. Also ensure that the Performance > Preferences > Use Graphics Processor setting is enabled in Photoshop." So try this and see if it works

@@aksndrv Hi, thanks for the help. The thing is that if I select rasterize in the bubble it lets me select liquify. Any other image I can rasterize except the bubbles that I need to rasterize first. My computer has an RTX2060 graphic card and an i7 intel processor with 32Gb of ram. It can't be the PC I think. Can it be photoshop itself because it's older? It's CS4.

@ Your computer is definitely powerful enough so I would say that the problem is the version of Photoshop. CS4 is really old so I guess it can't apply the liquify effect only on rasterized layers

@@aksndrv like the part when you start to change the contour. I do everything that you do too but it still looks flat and not ‘bubbly’. It looks more like a piece of glass instead of a bubble
